Christmas Day

Harry sat there as he re-read it a few times, he didn't like the idea of cutting Harriates hand of so following note 1. he got to his feet and left the bathroom. he headed across the landing to wat he guessed was a small study, as he entered the study the smell of musty books filled his nostrils causing him to cough slightly, the study was dimmly lit and the curtains closed from the looks of it it didn't seem to of been used for a few months given the layer of dust that had collected, glancing round the room he thought there would have to be some books on spells and encharntments as Harry begun to sweep round the few shelves of books he noticed they were however neatly arranged alphabectially he knew that it would take a while at least "i don't have time for this.." he mubbled then drew his wand "Accio books on spells and enchantments!" only a few books answered to his summon, he ducked as a few books narroly missed his head, now was time to seriously nuckle down.

yet again after a few hours at the most had passed he had picked out a book that seemed possible, getting to his feet and brushing hiself off he left the study closing the door behind him he headed for harriates room, he had seen a bracelet on her wrist the day before, pushing the door open he glanced about to make sure no one had seen him with that he walked towards the bed where there was a sheet covering the almost sleeping Harriate, holding back the bile that was beginning to build in his throat he uncovered Harriate, he was shocked at her ghostly pale ness her eyes where closed and to harry it almost seemed as if she was sleeping. taking Harriates writs in his hand he felt it's coldness and couldn't help but shiver, opening the book to the page marked he begun to read the incantation in english.

As Harry spoke the words there was a calm stillness in the air. No spark of Magic at all.
It hadn't worked. The bracelet remained on harriates wrist.

The bracelet glowed a sickly green colour against her pale flesh. It pulsed and with a bright flash of Black light there was a soft click and it released itself from her wrsit showing the scars underneath.

The next day, Jasmine walked to Silver's house carrying a bunch of presents for Remus, Silver, and Ashley. It was Christmas and Jasmine wanted to spread the cheer, even if Remus was still mad at her. She walked up to the front door and knocked and waited patiently.

Harry backed away from the light shielding his eyes, once the flash had died he saw the bracelet, picking it up carefully in his hand he immidiatly dropped it to the floor as his scar seeared in pain, he clutched his scar willing the pain to stop, gradually after it had eased down with a crunch he stamped down on the bracelet, reducing it to nothing more then fragments.

Harry now walked back over to Harriates body the wrist in which the bracelet covered, was noting but a mass of cuts and scars, his stomach churned, she had tried to cut it off countless times his eyes looked over her arm and he let a small gasp escape as where the dark mark would have been there was a chunk on skin missing making her arm look oddly uneven, with the dimness of the sun shining through the curtains he caught sight of somthing silver glisting, instinctivly he reached out a hand to try and pull the sliver out only to the touch his scar yet again seered with pain.

Picking up the book he had dropped on the floor with spells and enchantments, he looked in the index under summoning charms, there with great luck he had found a spell to remove silver, drawing his wand yet again he notied his wand in various circles and repeated. "argentum defaeco!" shards of silver begun to retreat from with harriates arm.

Seeing a blinding light from the windows, Jasmine knocked on the door again. "Remus???? Is anyone there???? Are you okay??? If you are, can you please open the door??"

A dark grey mist rose from Harriate to meet thee white battling with it. The pure white magic from harry clashed with the Dark Arts Harriate had learnt in her life. The grey paled slightly turning more neutral but kept wrapped around Harriates body keeping the white at bay.

Jasmine heard Harry's voice and she had a strange feeling something horrible was happening. She tried to turn the door knob to open the door but, it was locked. Jasmine drew out her wand and said,"ALOHAMORA!!!!" The door unlocked and she opened it and went inside. Then Jasmine stopped dead in her tracks at what she just saw infront of her. She slowly walked over to a chair and placed the presents on it and drew out her wand and pointed it at Harriate's ghost and looked at Harry,"Harry, what the hell is going on?" she asked curiously and coldly.

Jasmine followed Harry to Harriate's room and she raised her wand at him and asked in a cold demanding voice,"Do you mind telling me what the hell is going on, Harry?"

Jasmine didn't lower her wand and turned around and glared at Harriate's body,"Why are you doing that? She's a death eater and she's working for my cousin Tom......" Her words trailed off when she saw what books were sitting infront of Harry. She looked up at him and she spoke in parseltongue,"Are you doing dark magic?" Jasmine lowered her wand.

Jasmine looked at Harry and glared at Harriate's body and she spoke in parseltongue again,"Well, what about me? You Order members seem so naive. You trust someone like Harriate who constantly lies and betrays you and you can't seem to trust me who is trying to turn her life around. What the hell is the matter with you people?" She looked at Harry and gave him a cold glare.

Jasmine's anger slowly died down. Still speaking in parseltongue she asked,"Why do you trust me?" She hear Ginny's voice and still speaking in parseltongue she said,"Nothing. We are just talking." Jamine said in hisses.

Jasmine looked at Harry and she couldn't help but, burst out laughing.

Jasmine stopped laughing and said,"Oh yeah. I do." She turned to Ginny,"I didn't weird you out by speaking in parseltongue to you?"
