Silver was feeling tired. to much excitement.

"Remus may I talk to you", she asked walking back into living room from the kitchen?

Lupin nodded and put his knife and fork down and walked into the living room and to Silver wondering what she was going to say, wondering if he'd done something wrong

"..Something the matter? I forget to do something?"

He said lookng a little nervous

buttering his toast slolwy he was lost in thought he filled a mug up with some tea and added some sugaer stirring it slightly. he then picked up his slice of toast and took a bite of it

"Ohh not at all. I want to give you something, before I go take a nap with Ashley, she said walking to the tree.

She picked up a box and handed it to him. It was a black winter cloak she had sewed for him. She was quite good at it, since thats all she had know living in the forest.

She gave him a smaller box..containing warm gloves, she had got from Hogsmead for him.

She smiled as she handed him the boxes.

"I hope you like them", she said nervously.

Lupin opened the boxes and smiled and looked back to her

"Like them? I love them, thank you."

He said putting them on the table and hugging her

He went over to the tree and picked up a box, a large brown own containing a dress his mother had had, but had repaired it and made a few ulterations to her style, there were also coem old tatty looking books in there too

"I know it's not much but I think you need them.."

He then went onto the floor and crawled under the tree and took out a long narrow box and passed it to her, it was a wand..

After he had finished his toast he couldn't eat another thing, leaning back in his chair he took a welcoming sip of his hot tea, breathing in the teas warmth as it radiated into his cupped hand that where round the mug, he sat and looked over the cups brim pass Ginny and out the window lost in thought.

She smiled glad he liked his gifts. She squezed him back grateful...this part wasn't ruined.

She took the boxes opening the dress..

"Ohh it so lovely...I love it."

She opened the next looking through it and smiled.

She then open the long one and ........gasped.

"Ah..Ah..Ah..wand...for me", she said picking it up and looking it over.

She looked to him...but how can I use it...do you think I can, she asked so excited?

She kept saying it over and over a wand for me, like she was in shock...but a very happy shock.

She ran to him and hugged him and kissed him.

"This is all wonderful...so wonderful. Thank you so much, she said grateful. I promise to treasure it all always", she said with a big smile.

Ginny finally finished her food she held her plate and took her plate into the kitchen.

On the way she rubbed Harry's hand and then walked to the kitchen,turnt around and smiled at him then washed up her plate.

"Well.. just becareful with it at the moment.. but I can teach you the basics be useful for protection if I need to go away for a little while, or with thing around the house, repairing, could even, in time show you more powerful spells.."

He said trying not to blush from her hugs and kisses and comments

"I didn' t know if you would like it after last night, but in the right hands they are very useful.. glad you like it.."

He felt Ginny's hand touch his he, gave a small nod and smile then placing his mug down he begun to help with clearing the table leaving the few odd bits for Lupin and his unfinshed breakfast, picking up his plate as well as Silvers he walked out into the kitchen and placed them on the side. offering a hand to help Ginny with washing up

She wiped her hands after and hugged him and kissed his neck and then pulled back and looked at him.
"Merry Christmas Harry,I'm sure you'll get over this whole tradegy soon."
She smiled and held both of his hands and smiled at him hoping he would feel slughtly better.

"Okay", she said looking to him holding the wand.

"I only like the fact I can protect Ashley and myself now, thats the wonderful part."

I never knew I might be able to use one of these...well uneducated.

"Sure brightens up the day, with all the gloom around it"...thank you again.

"I shall go rest now"...wear me dress when I come back down.

"Merry Christmas Remus", she said with one last hug before retreating up the stairs with her presents.

Harry nodded yet again with a small smile he looked down at the joining hands, he had missed this alot. "yeah..thanks..you too..and eventually i guess i will..well i have to.." he said then kissed Ginny's cheek as a sign of gratfulness he then dropped her hands and moved to the sink, rolling up his sleeve he begun to wash up the few plates he had brought out

Ginny smiled as her cheeks turnt pink.
"Thanks for that,I miss all we was able to do together"
She then stood next to him and rolled her sleeves up snd began to wash up her plate,looking at Harry a few times.

Before she left he kissed he on the cheek and then let her go to rest before he left to continue his breakfast.

He sat back down and tucked into his brekkie. He sipped his tea and then finished and sat back feeling a little stuffed.

Harry smiled slightly a few times as he caught site of Ginny's glances "yeah.." he then with his bubble coverd hand put some bubbles on the end of Ginny's nose he couldn't help but laugh alittle "got you.."

She laughed and put some in his face.

She smiled and laughed to her self again.

Teddy walked into the kitchen smelling food. He saw everyone and smiled "Merry Christmas guys" he went and sat down at the table taking a few strips of bacon.

Laughing slightly he wiped the bubbles off himself with his sleeve then drying his hands he made his way back into the dinning room to finish clearing up, he saw Lupin sitting there, Harry remained silent as he stacked the other plates up and other food supplements, the memories of last night came flodding back to him, he felt a slight anger build up inside him towards Lupin and even Sirius but he pushed it down, Lupin no doubt had a reason behind his actions.

Ginny then took some of the glasses into the kitchen,as she saw the expression on his face.She needed to relax him more..
She then rubbed her hand on his cheek.
"Harry its okay,just let it go.Everything will be fine"
She smiled and continued to wash up.

He watched Harry starting to clear he rest away

"Harry I'll do that in a moment.. just go and enjoy yourself, my job to do that."

He heard Teddy's voice and said

"Merry Christmas Teddy, have some things left for breakfast in here."

"most of it done anyway.." he said with a very slight grummble then he looked up and noticed Teddy "merry Christamas too.." he said sounding as polite as he could with that he took what he had collected into the kitchen, he had heard Ginny's words and nodded in reponse he wouldn't of know what to do without Ginny.

He said looking to Harry looking sightly hurt after hearing the grumble

"Is it about last night? I had no choice.. not really, either this or Azkaban for the rest of her life, being driven insane by pure fear.."

Harry turned to the voice of Lupin "yeah..everythings fine thanks.." he then looked down brifley then back up to Lupin "yeah i know..just..it's all still registering though.." he gave an almsot slight hystirical laugh "it's not everyday Christmas eve thing though is it..for you to have your godfather turn out to be on the enemy's side your fighting, and your friend being killed by yet another friend.." he sighed slightly "but yeah..i understand your actions.." he nodded then gave a small smile then headed back into the kitchen to give Ginny a hand

Teddy got a plate with a little bit of everything on it and got himself a glass of tea. He hadnt eaten in a while and was starving.
