Christmas Day

Subject: Christmas Day Mon Sep 03, 2007 7:27 pm

Silver woke up got dressed and dressed Ashley it was her first Chistmas..regardless of the shadow that was cast over it. Silver still felt numb and wondered how long it would take to put all this behind them. She walked to the living room put the baby in a baby seat so she could watch the pretty lights as Silver plugged the lights up in to the wall. Silver layed out her presents she got with a heavy heart.

She then made her way to the kitchen to help Remus prepare the dinner. She wasn't sure when the time was to open gifts. She made some tea and waited for the rest to come over for the day. No matter what... no strangers were allowed. She would let them know right off, whether anyone else liked it or not..wasn't her concern anymore. For now on Ash's safety came first...feelings were last.

He looked round still looking a little peaky from the evening before after seeing what Harriate;s spirit had done to the body.

He smiled weakly and put a large tray of potatoes and veggies in to roast them, then added a large leg of deer in, covered with herbs.

He was making the yorkshire pudding mixture, ripping it up in a bowl to make it puffy and get the air in it so they won't go flat when they were cooked.

"Merry Christmas."

He said walking over to her while mixing in in the bowl under his arm. He kissed her and nodded to the table

"Make some breakfast and tea."

She smiled to him and kissed him back

"Merry christmas Remus!"

"Did you sleep well", she asked pouring herslf hot tea and taking a seat for now, until she was fully at herself?

"..On and off, had too many things on my mind, but I've slept worse.. and yourself."

He said pouring the mixture out into some round backing tray and then added them to the over and then taking a seat and sipping his tea and knocking to top of his egg and dunking a bread soldier into it and popping it into his mouth

She smiled.

"I slept hard and mostly sound. Guess the events wore me out."

"I'll help with the meal for today...don't want you doing it all."

She snuck a bite of his food trying it out and doing the same as he did.

"The boys should be her soon. When do we give them and the others gifts", she asked not knowing the procedure of things?

"I used to do it first thing when I woke up, we can do it after breakfast before it gets cold.. and it's ust about done.. needs to cook and then make the grazy, about it.."

Ginny woke up in Harriate's bed,she hopped out of bed and decided to dress up as naughty little miss Santa.
She wore a Santa mini skirt with tights.

And a Santa top that had no sleeves it just covered her her upper parts and waste,she then put on a santa hat along with some red high heels.

She smiled to her self and walked down the stairs.
She looked a bit like she was wearing lingerie,she mostly done it to impress Harry.

" Hey guys Merry Christmas! "
She smiled and adjusted her hat.

He looked round to Ginny

"I thought you left.. and what are you wearing, it's christmas.. not fancy dress..didn't know we had a room free either.."

Silver gasped at the sight of her and almost choked sipping her tea.

"Where did you sleep last night", she asked looking to the girl?

"I don't know,I kind of just fell asleep."
Ginny laughed."Just thought id make a impression,so did everybody sleep okay?"

"An impression? If sure your mother wouldn't be too happy about it.. please change and come back, Harriate's room is off limits, but Merry Christmas."

He sad sipping his tea and going for a slither of bacon

Silver looked to Remus in shock, cause they hadn't buried Harriate yet. Hariate still lay in her bed upstairs.

"Umm...yeah, fine I guess."

"Would you like some breakfast then?"

Ginny laughed to her self to what Lupin said.
"Umm okay..."
Ginny went into the bathroom and changed into her geans and black top along with white shoes.

She then walked back down the stairs.
"Happy now" she said with a smirk on her face.

Lupin nodded

"Much happier, now come and get yourself something to eat, have Eggs, scrambled edd, sausages, Tomatoes, hashbrowns, Bacon, fried bread, toast, and cerals"

He said making himself another tea and taking some muchrooms

"oh and fried muchrooms."

He added a few more iteams to is plate

Harry truged up the path in the morning, he hadn't slept at all that night news travelled fast, he heard about what Sirius had done and he had heard about Harriate, emotions still welled up inside him not sure what to feel, he had been up all night wisihing it had all been a dream or a nightmare for that matter, He had his Gryffindor scaf wrapped round his neck and his hands in his clokes pocket, he hadn't exactly dressed well he only wore his plain white t-shirt as well as his blue faded jene and his jacket and on top of that his cloke, the winters air brushed against his cheek making them slightly pink, he extended a hand to knock on the worn door.

Ginny made her way into the kitchen and put on her plate two sausages,one egg,two hashbrowns,along with bacon,and 2 spoon falls of scrambled egg.

She sat down and heard the door go and wondered who it was.

Silver went to get Ash so she could have breakfast to. She probably had enough of the lights by now.

She came back to the kitchen, making Ash a bottle and sitting down to finish breakfast.

"How come we never know who's here and who's not...feel a bit odd sleeping at night not knowing who's gonna attack us in our sleep."

She then got up leaving the kitchen, clearly a bit upset at her open house when she had fed the baby. She waited in the living room by the tree..be nice to exchange some gifts before they all arrived.

"I'm used to it, being in the HQ and all."

He heard a knock on the door and got up and then opened it

"Morning Harry.., aren't you freezing, wearing that."

He asked. He was wearing his usual shabby robes seeing as it was all he could afford, didn't see a point in wearing anything fancy either

Harry looked up and shook his head "no..not really..and morning.." he nodded slightly " merry Christmas" he said though he himself couldn't see anything merry about it, he had still not come to terms with what Lupin had done or what Sirius had done none the less he would atleast try to have a remote merry christmas.

Silvia looked up holding the baby by the fire looking at the tree.

"Hi Harry...Merry Christmas", she said with a welcoming smile.

Harry was only one of a very few of Remus's friends she felt was trust worthy and liked actually.

She smiled and ate a bit of scrambled egg.

"Have breakfast ready n the kitchen make sure you take what you want, don't want to waste much, alright?"

He said letting him in and then closed the door. He made his way to the kitchen and continued with his breakfast looking like he was starved for a week

Ash feel alseep so she layed her down in the bedroom as she left, she paused outside of Harriates room and sighed before making her way back down stairs.

She walked to the kitchen taking out some eggnog and adding a bit of whiskey to it. She needed to be relaxed at bit..to get through what had to be done before the day was out.

once Harry had stepped in he took of his scarf and cloke and hung it up on the cloke peg, he gave a slight half smile "yeah you too Silver..and hey Ginny..same for you" he then nodded in understanding to Lupin but replied "yeah thanks..i'll have somthing..not that hungry.." Harry then took a seat opposite Ginny at the table and helped him self to a piece of toast, turth was he wasn't actually hungry at all but he thought it polite to at least eat somthing.
