Christmas Eve

Harriate sat staring at Remus as if he'd grown an extra head and needed to be shipped off to St Munogs to the insane ward.
'If you hadn't of said Plump i would have sworn you were talking about Dumbledore.'

Harriate nodded but still looked at Remus oddly.
'This whole father christmas thing sounds insane. Your all nuts.' She joked smiling slightly glad that Remus ahd laughed.

Silver came back into the room holding a large gift box with gift paper hanging out.

"I think we should do the tree now", she said smilling to them.

"I have chrsitmas eve presents too, but can't give them out till we get a tree."

'Be a cute little cub.' Harriate smiled.
'If they don't let her in for some stupid reason which would mean i would have to castrate them then she could always go to my old school. Bit more....violent....but very academic.
Harriate smiled as Silver came in and mentioned decorating the tree ignoring the comment about presents. They were for family.

She sat the box in a corner until, the time came to put the tree up.

She found a empty seat and sat down watching the others.

"Harriate do you still need to mend your clothes. I sat out a box on the mantle over the fireplace. It should have all you need in it", she said with sweetly to her.

'Thank you silver.' Harriate smiled and walked upstairs returning down with her torn clothes and took the box off the mantle and started fixing the many tears in her clothes. The full moon certainly didnt help cloths wise.

"Yes that would be wonderful", she sai with a smile curled up in a chair.

"We could go with you if you need help getting it back here."

Harry a while later returned from the porch "i brought presents too.."he was carrying a bag wich consited of various presents he then placed them in the corner with all the others, he had not actually assiged the presents to say the least they where just presents he had for anyone and they could easily swap if one of them got what the other wanted, after laying out the presents he got to his feet and handed a christmas card to each of them, Harriate, Lupin, Silver and Cody aswell as teddy and Ron, he had lots of cards he had yet to give out, as he had mostly fogotten about them "there not exactly great cards but yeah.." he said as he took a seat in one of the armchairs

"Aww thank you Harry, she said taking it and opening the card and reading it."

"I have never got a card before", she said getting up and placing it standing up on the mantle above the fireplace.

'Me neither. Thanks Prongsie.' Harriate smiled. She grabbed one of her home made cards and handed it to him.
'This ones for you.'

Harriate glanced down at her card watching it smiling.
'Its great. Thanks.'

Silver went to get the boxes of decorations she had found in the attic earlier, she brought them into the room and placed them by the other box she hd brought in.

Harriate finished her sewing and put the box back on the mantle and went up stairs to get changed.
Coming back down in clothes that actualy fit and werent to small she felt a lot more comfortable even if they looked very tatty with obvious sown tear marks.

"I guess we could open the decoration get them sorted out for when Remus comes back with a tree."

She got up walking to the boxes, except for one she dragged them over to where the could sit and go through the boxes.

'Can i help at all?' Harriate asked hesitantly re rentering the lounge.

"Sure it's a family thing..for friends and family."

She pulled out a string of lights from the box..."can't wait to see it all lit up", she said smilling pulling out ornaments from a box.

"There's three boxes one for each of us", she said pushing one to Harry and one to Harriate.

Harriate pulled the box of decorations towards her and started untangling the lights and tinsel.
