The Yule Ball

Ron smiled at Hermione. He gave brooke a small wave and sat down on an empty seat.

Brooke rasied her goblet towards the two smileing she took a sip and giggled.

Hermione smiled back at Ron warmly before turning to Brooke and giving her a questioning look when she raised her gobelt, but smiling all the same.

"Oh hey mate.." Ron said, blinking a few times. He had stopped blushing so much, but he had to avoid Hermione's eyes, at least for the next few hours. It would be extremly akward for Harry, if he knew.

"Hello Harry" Hermione said, smiling at him "Have fun dancing with Ginny?" She asked, she hoped she appeared to be acting normally even though her cheeks were still a faint pink.

Ron glanced over at Hermione and blushed, then he looked back at Harry. "W-we D-don't know w-what your o-on about.." He said in the most convincing voice. He found the extremly hard to lie to Harry, he was hopeless at it.

Hermione was looking down at the floor, and shook her head. "W-Why would you think that Harry.." She said, looking up but not looking right at him.

Ron blushed and looked at Hermione, hoping she'd have something to say.

"No...we're not together.." They weren't reaally..so it wasn't exactly lieing. Ron shrugged and looked around.

Lavender walked in the hall and spotted Ron, she started blushing.

Roxy Walked ina nd Looked around at All The Happy Couples and Sighed.

She sat down.

She saw Ron with Hermione which made her angry, so she walked over to a empty chair in a huff.

Roxy Looked Over and Saw that Lavender was alone, she decided to get up and walk over.

"Umm Hi, Anyone sitting next to you?" She asked pointing to the chair next to her.

Lavender smiled "Nope it's free" she replied.

Roxy sat down next to Lavender and smiled "Thanks, Did you come with anyone?"

She asked politly

Lavender sighed and said "Nope.....did you?"

Roxy sighed at the exact time as Lavender.

"Not really, all the guys were mostly taken, theres one guy I met this morning but we didnt really talk much, he seemed really nice but I guess Ill just be a loner."

Lavender smiled at Roxy "Well I supoose we can be loners together!" Lavender took a sip of her drink thinking that there could be a friendship bonding between Roxy and herself.

Roxy laughed and took a sip of her butter beer, she seemed to get on really well with Lavender. Roxy didnt know wether to tell her that she was a Syltherin. If anything she was the nicest slytherin you could get, she didnt know wether to make this into a friendship.

Lavender smiled and woundered what house Roxy was in. SHe didn't mind if Roxy was a Slytherin, casue ou never know what someone is like till you get to know them.
