Ron nodded towards her, he loved that smile of hers.

"Umm Hermione..?" He said ignoring the others "Would you urmm...like to dance?" He asked, not taking his eyes off of her. He started to blush a light shade of pink.

"Yes.. Ok, lets" Hermione blushed, she couldn't actually believe she was going to dance with Ron, she couldn't help but smile at him.

Ron felt suddenly warm inside, he was going to dance with Hermione Granger!

He moved forwards towards her and took one of her hands, blushing.

Hermione blushed as Ron took her hand, feeling a lot happier than she had done in a while.

"So.. lets dance" She laughed lightly, stepping out onto the dancefloor.

Ron blushed and ran his thumb over her smooth hand, not even noticing what he was doing, he stepped onto the dance floor beside her and places one of his hands on her waist and held her other hand, firmly.

Looking up at Harry, Ginny decided this awkward feeling was pointless so she said " Oh come on Harry cheer up a little its not that bad in here and you have the wonderful company of Ginevra Weasley, entertainment for the evenening!" she laughed feeling better now that she had said something at least.

Harry watched as Hermione and Ron walked onto the dance floor now he was left alone again..and with Ginny with the awquard silence still lingering Harry slightly shifted feet and looked gingerly about not sure what to say to ginny.

Hermione blushed as Ron placed his hand on her waist, she quickly rested her free hand on his shoulder.

Drifted into a Day Dream thinking about it.

Ron felt himself slightly sliding his hand a little further down her waist, but not to far, he gazed into her eyes as the music started and started to dance along with the tune.

Hermione felt Ron's hand move and blushed, trying not to move all that much because she didn't want to break the moment. She looked back into Ron's eyes as they began to dance.

for a while Harry watched Ron and Hermione dance then looked to Luna as she spoke about him dancing with Ginny he rubbed the back of his neck and glanced brifely towards Ginny

Ron smiled, dancing with her, he was lost in her eyes and he couldn't find the way out. He was blushing a deep shade of red.

"You look beautiful tonight.." He whisperd.

She sighed and looked up at Harry, feeling like everyone wanted them to dance she asked despite the fact she wasn't wearing the appropriate shoes "Harry wana dance ?" Ginny glanced over at Luna and gave her a look as if to say " Happy ?"

Luna wasn't really paying attention, she was too Busy playing around in her own little world.

Hermione blushed as Ron whispered to her, she could feel his breath tickling her neck as he spoke.

"Thank you.." She smiled, actually feeling pretty for the first time. "You don't look too bad yourself" She reploed.

Harry blinked slightly surprised by the sudden question did Ginny just actually ask him to dance "uh sorry..what?" he asked to check he hadn't misheard

She spoke more clearly " Do..You..Want..to..dance..with..me?" Ginny laughed moving her hair away from her eyes and moving her hands behind her back again smiling

Harry realised he hadn't misheard and that ginny did ask him to dance a smile came to his face a almost slight idiotic one then dulling the smile down given how he though he must of looked like an idiot he nodded "um..yeah..sure..though..don't like dancing and can't dance.."

Ginny couldn't help but smile and said " and you think i can dance? its a slow song anyway shouldn't be to hard" she said taking his hand and leading him out onto the dance floor, placing her arms around his neck " see not to horrible being alone with me is it?" she laughed

Ron blushed "Im nothing on you.." he replied, smiling at her, he was still dancing with her, but the song had finished..

Hermione smiled, her cheeks still red from blushing, she was also still dancing, she hadn't even realised the song had ended, she wasn't taking any notice of the music..

Ron didn't take any notie as all the couples cleared from the dance floor, even though it was only them two, dancing alone in the middle of the dance floor, it didn't feel like it.

As Harry was pulled onto the dance floor with Ginny it was just his luck that another song begun to play and yet again it was another slow song, harry felt his throat slightly tigten with nerves as Ginny's hands reached up to encycle his neck feeble harry places his hand on her waist, all his expreince of dancing seemed to seep away in that moment "no it's not that bad..but i know i'm going to make a fool of us.."
