The Yule Ball

Lavender looked at the Fat Lady and said the password, she then watched as her portrait swung open. She turned to Marcuis and smiled. "Thanks for walking me up to the common room".

"no problem" he said hugging her "night beutiful" he said as he stood back from her and went to go downstairs

Lavender huggeg Marcius back and said "Night, hun..", she stood there for a couple of minutes while she watched him make his way to the stairs.

marcius started walking down the stairs until he was out of sight and then jumped over the banister to land on the first floor which a loud crack as his ankle snapped "ill learn to land that bl***y jump properly one day" marcius growled to himself as he stodd up and hobbled of towards the grounds

Lavender went to walk to the portrait when she heard a crack. "Oh no.. Marcuis" she said while rushing over to the banister and shouting "Marcuis are you alright?".

"ye im good just didnt land properly so my ankle broke nothing to worry about ive had worse " the voice of marcius said as it travelled up the 7 floors. and he sat down on the floor under the stair case so that he could snap his ankle back into place (crack) marcius let out a low growl, no matter how many times he had done it it was always a little apainful to snap hias ankle back into place

Lavender cringed as she hard the crack. She ran back down the stairs, reaching Marcius but as she reached the last one she fell. She landed on her arm, she let out a small scream.

"lavender marcius said running towards lavender his ankle paining him every step but ignoring it "are you ok" he said gently turning her over and holding her is his arms "where does it hurt" he asked tentively

She felt herself being held. "I'm fine..." she said through gritted teeth. "My arm hurts thats all...nothing to worry about" she could feel tears coming but done all she could to hold them back.

"its ok, theres no one here you can cry if you want" marcius said caringly "i remeber my first broken bone, i know how painful they can be" he added and then gently lifting lavender back into his arms he said "so i guess its sixth floor hospital wing this time" he grimaced at lavender as his ankle slightly gave way but he quickly composed himslef "he had had more pain than this before" he thought to himself

Lavender felt a tear roll down her cheek, she quickly wiped it away hoping he didn't see. "Yeah hospital wing, is on the forth floor..."she said.

marcius gently wiped his thumb across lavenders cheek to wipe a tear away and he started walking towards the hospital wing "its funny ya know... i didnt think you could be any more beutiful but tears deffiantly bring out your eyes" he smiled

Lavender smiled. "Thank you, is your ankle ok?" she asked...thinking how he could walk on it with the pain.

" ill live" he said kindly to her "ive learnt to live with it over the years" he added as his ankle gave ay again and his knee slammed into the ground. standing up he said even more caringly "im more worried about that arm of yours, it looks realy painful". "which way is t now" he asked her as they reached the fourth floor "ive never actually been here before"

Lavender smiled and direct Marcius to the hospital wing. "Madam Pomfery will ask you how you done it by the way.."Lavender said looking at Marcius ankle.

"only if i tell her about it" he smiled slyly "only reason im going is to make sure your ok... its my fault you fell after all" he said looking down at her with regret

Lavender stopped before walking in the hospital wing. "No it's not...it's my fault..I fell..I wanted to make sure you were ok!".

"sweet" smiled marcius "but us half wolves dont feel pain" he grimaced as his ankle gave way for a third time this time leeding to his knee smashing into the ground "ok maybe just a little bit of pain" he smiled weakly "but i still should of landed better, if i had you wouldnt of run down the steps and fell... but anyways lets get into the hospital so madam pomfrey can sort out your arm" and with that he opened the door for lavender to pass
"WHOS THAT THIS TIME OF NIGHT" moaned the matron

Lavender jumped at the sound of her voice. "It's Lavender Madem Pomfrey....I've hurt my arm....badley"Lavender said...more frighten of Madem Promfry.

"sorry for disturbing you" marcius said flashing the matron a warm smile "i know its very late but i thought it best bring her up here after she fell and hurt her arm" marcius used this to skate over madam pomfreys question of why marcius was there one madam pomfrey had gotten lavender changed and into bed marcius asked lavender "do you want me to stay here a while till you drift off" flashing her a very dashing smile

Lavender smiled and thought to her self "Wow..he has a nice smile..".
"Yeah that would be nice thanks Marcius!"

marcius pulled up a chair and sat beside lavenders bed. he kept her company until she drifted off with the intention of getting up and going out hunting for a bit but because of the pain his ankle was casuing him he had to energy left and fell asleep in the chair next to lavenders bed.

Lavender woke up and saw marcius sleeping. She smiled at him, she thought it was better if she didn't wake him up.

"take them and run" shouted a women with long blonde hair and a bloodied face "im not leaving you" shouted a man with pale skin and short black hair. marcius pulled his hand out of the mans hand and tried to run to the women but there was a green flash and then marcius was forced to the floor by the man landing on top of him marcious hit his head on the ground and fell unconscius

marcius shot awake shaking seeing lavender awake he tried to stop himself shaking and tried to forget the dream he was having "moring buetiful" he said forcing his face into a smile

"Morning, are you alright? Bad dream?" she asked. Lavender hated bad dreams her self.
