The Yule Ball

"Look, I'm sorry Marcius." Rose sighed apologetically. "It's just, you get all sorts of people at this school and it's much easier to jump to the wrong conclusions. Can you forgive me?" She bit her lip, slightly nervous, and a bit hungry. Also angry. Oh dear, she thought, not the Empath stuff again...

marcius unscrewed the bottle of blood and turned away from lavender so she didnt have to watch him then he tunred back to her and rose after refitting the lid and wiping his mouth "its ok i can see how it looked me going out and coming back smelling of blood, it gets hardf sometimes looking at how careless some people around here get and that boy walking out alone just made me even hungrier" said marcius as he hung his head in shame whilst tossing the half full container to the vampire (OOC sorry couldnt remeber your name))
"so i had to go out and eat and .....other things" marciusgrowled sorrowfully

Gary caught the bottle. He sniffed it and chucked it back. "Don't worry, I'll have my potion."

as the bottle was tossed back marcius dug his claws into his arm to control himself "he shakes hands then he chucks back my offers of food" marcius thought angrily to himself as blood started to dribble from his arm

Gary saw the reaction from Marcius as he threw the bottle back. "I don't mean it in a bad way" he said, trying to explain his actions. "Its just if i drink that then I'll just want more and more. If i have my potion it stops that from happening. Otherwise i would accept your offer. I didn't mean to offend."

marcius put the bottle under his now bleeding arm and the droplets started to refill the bottle apparantly unnoticed "why deny yourself what you are" marcius wispered "we are blood drinkers you and i and no matter what potions they make up there will never be a cure" he added

Gary sighed. "I know that. But how do you keep on drinking blood? Where do you get it from in the first place?" Gary was slightly suspicous about how Marcius had a supply of blood.

Lavender fiddled with her hair, it was a bit weird to her knowing a vampire and a half were wolf. She was startting to get use to it thoe, as long as she knew she wasn't in danger.

"well for me the bloods easy" he said moving his hand and showing gary the wound he had just made and then shaking his bottle to indicate where the blood had gone. "aswell as a little something i fixed up last year.

"You drink your own blood?" He was slightly shocked by this but had heard of people doing it before.

Lavender yawned a little. She took another sip of her butter beer, feeling slightly tired.

"you look exausted, i think someone ready for bed" marcius said smiling kindly at lavender "cmon i walk you up" he added standing up and giving lavender his hand

Rose didn't look shocked at all at Marcius' news. She'd self-harmed for a few years a little while ago, and she guessed it was pretty similar. She just looked at Gary and nodded in approval at his denial of Marcius' blood.

Gary thought over what Marcius had shown him. It seemed a logical idea but his potion worked well. If he started drinking blood regularly he might loss control. The potion stopped him froming doing this. It was a tempting idea to the other part of him.....

Roxy walked in quitely with a new dress on and went and stood in the far corner. She tried to avoid Andrea she didnt want to cause any more upset.

Gary heard someone walk into the Hall. He looked over and saw Roxy standing in the corner. He smiled at her then looked away, feeling a bit bad about how mean he and Rose had been

She smiled back at Gary and looked away and sipped her butter beer.
She sighed as she saw Gary and Rose having a good time.

Lavender took Marcius's hand and stood up. She smiled at him and said "Thanks Marcuis".

marcius slowly guided lavender towards the door after saying night to the rest making sure that she didnt not bump into anything or anyone that may hurt her

Lavender smiled feeling her eyes droop a little. When her and Marcius finally got out of the hall she looked around, it was much quieter out here then in there, she thought.

"thats better" said marcius as they finally got outside the ball "never was one for big crowds, so which way to your dorm" he asked lavender while trying to hold her up as she stumbled "it realy wasnt a good idea trying to keep up with me" he laughed

Lavender laughed. "My house is that way" she pointed up towards the marble staircase. "My house is on the seventh floor....."she sighed slightly thinking about haveing to walk up all them stairs.

"something tells me if your not going to make it up those stairs" marcius smiled and with one swift movement he lifted lavender into his arms and started to walk up the steps 3 at a time. in no time at all they had reached the fourth floor "seventh floor you said" he asked lavender whilst beaming down at her

Lavender was a little slow at realising that she was in Marcius's arms. She looked up at him and smiled. "Yes seventh floor".

they made it to the seventh floor and marcius gently lowered lavender to her feet "password" said the fat lady "ah you have a password for your dorm" he said smiling at lavender while holding and supporting her "i supose everyone to their own" he added "can you remeber the pass word" he said hoping that she could
