THE HALLOWEEN BALL

Jasmine smiled and she laughed,"Sure, everyone calls me Jas. Even Draco does. Okay, Ginny, Hermione can you guess what I am?"

Hermione laughed, smiling at Scarlet and Ginny "Thanks you two, but there is a lot I can't do!" She blushed.

"Yeah, you look great Jasmine" She smiled.

Jasmine smiled at Hermione,"Right back at ya, cousin. Okay, if you guys must know, I'm a serpent princess or Slytherin's princess."

"Hermione, dont kid yourself. You can do everything" Scarlet said, smiling.

Scarlet spun herself in a circle and out of the group she was dancing in. She only spun a few steps away but she felt like there was a million mile difference. She suddenly strode out of the Hall and went up to her dorm before going out to the lake..

"Thanks" Hermione smiled at her, blushing.

Hermione looked toward Scarlet, wondering why she had left so suddenly and followed her.

Jasmine nodded at Hermione. She watched her Scarlet, and Ginny leave and she suddenly felt all alone. Jasmine walked over to the table where she set her glass down and she sat down hoping that Draco or Cody would show up and talk to her.

Jasmine looked around the Great Hall for several minutes looking for Draco or Cody. They didn't seem to be anywhere. She sees that Harry had just walked in and she walked over to him. "Hi Harry. Nice costume. Guess what I am?" She said as she modeled her green gown, her emerald and silver tiara, her silver slippers, long green gloves and her silver snake choaker around her neck.

Rose stood next to Harry smiling smugly. She may have been lonely, but Harry's predicament was worse. "Which do you prefer?" she asked him. "Fire or water?"

Cho accdiently drop the cup down on the floor,quickly gettin some napkins from the table as she bent down trying to wipe it up,she slightly muttered under her breath.

Rose watched the scene in front of her. "Fire and water should never mix," she muttered.

Jasmine smiled,"Yep. I'm a serpent princess or the Slytherin princess. So, what's going on?"

"I see..." She nodded thoughtfully. Retrieving her wand from inside her dress, she waved it carefully, causing the liquid in Ginny's cup to catch fire. The flames were cool, and quite harmless. "Sorry," she said. "My little joke."

"Oh..Hey Ginny " She smiled slightly up at her,then when back to cleaning the mess up putting a strand of hair behind her ear as she did so.she then turnt to Luna "Hey Luna thanks you um look great as...um a what are you ?" She decided she was sounded a little rude to her "Oh im sorry..i didt mean to a offened but you look really nice "
