THE HALLOWEEN BALL

"Should we go and talk to him?" She looked at Gary, head to one side, then returned her gaze to the boy. "He looks nice enough..."

"Yeah sure. Come on." He walked over to where the boy was standing. "Hi I''m Gary" he smiled warmly.

Rose followed Gary over to Aiden. "And I'm Rose." She bowed low, taking off her top hat to him.

'To my knowledge yes..especialy how they were over christmas. I just don't want to see a big fight erupt.' Harriate followed his gaze to Ron.
'And be carefull of weasley..Ron that is...its her big brother...VERy protective.' She smiled slightly.

There was the briefiest glimpse of a young woman with green and silver eyes and dark red hair like the natural coloured streaks in Harriates. She was holding a baby only a few days old who was clearly Harriate and the woman had a small smile on her face looking straight ahead. it only lasted 2 seconds before the image vanished.
'No...it couldn't be..there both dead...no..that traitor is not of the line...' A wave of anger washed through the link.

"Thanks." She followed his gaze, knowing where it would lead. She leant towards him, lowering her voice. "She's very pretty, very amazing and very, very, very taken."

Gary saw Harriate standing there as well. He hadn't really spoken to her much. "Hey!" He smiled.

Ron walked away from Ginny up behind Rose and Gary "Oh Hi, im Ron, Ron Weasley" he said Warmly He looked at Adian "Thats my sister" He said pointing towards Ginny. "And if you even try making a move on her, ill smack you so hard in the face you wont be able to talk for a year" He smiled warmly as if he handn't said anyway, then walked over to Harry "Hey mate, you okay?" He asked

Gary laughed at Rose's comment. "Sorry mate but it's true. You don't wanna mess with Harry! Trust me" He thought about Cho and her connection with Harry.

Rose laughed at Ron's comment. "He will as well. He's very protective." She turned to see Ron walking away, and Harry slumped against the wall. Looking puzzled, she shrugged and turned back to the others.

"Oh they are pretty close. And it's not just Harry you have to watch for as you can see!" He laughed.

Harriate felt pain shoot through the mark again and hissed slightly looking down at her arm in confusion wondering what was going on.
'excuse me..got to go.' She said to Aidan and headed back to the far wall.

"So...you're a Gryffindor," Rose said, attempting to change the subject. "Nice. We're Ravenclaw rockers. It's fun."

"Harry? Mate?" Ron said, looking extremly concerned. "Harry? Harry? whats wrong?"

"Yeah Ravenclaw equals the best!" He laughed. "Nah Gryffindors are cool as well" He smiled and looked about the Hall. It was very impressive.

Rose heard Ron, and, turning around again, she looked deeply concerned. Hurrying over, she put a hand on Ron's shoulder. "What's happening?"

Gary looked around to where Rose had run off too. He saw Harry and walked over as well. He looked back at Aidan. "You coming? It looks like somethings wrong with Harry" He carried on walking.

Hermione noticed the group of people crowding around Harry and rushed over quickly.

"Is he alright?" She asked worriedly.

Rose looked at her with a grim look on her face. "No idea."
