One in a million

"Never fully. I knew you liked me more than just a good mate but i never thought you would actually go out with me." A huge swelling of guilt rose up in Gary's stomach. It had only been a couple of hours ago when he had dumped Andrea, she was probably sitting somewhere crying her eyes out. And what was he doing? Hitting on another girl.....

Roxy hadnt told anyone about her reading peoples thoughts, she just sighed and walked off. She knew he still loved her.

"Go find Andrea" She said tears filling up her eyes.

"I don't want to find Andrea! Why would you say that?" Gary didn't want to find Andrea, but still felt guilty about her.

"I..can read peoples thoughts, I heard you thinking about Andrea and so..You obviosuly still care for her.."
She looked down.

gary was slightly shocked by the fact that Roxy could read his mind. "Of course i care about her! Just cause i dumped her doesn't mean i instently forget about her. She still me best mate!"

"Im not saying she cant be!, Just Ive heard horrible things that people thought about me..It hurts about my family, me..and when I get to lov..like someone such as you and think they could never feel the same...

Oh Dont worry Gary."
She walked off slowly.

"No wait. Look i'm sorry i didn't mean to snap at you. I'm just a bi tired at the moment. It must be hard hearing what people think about you. How long have you known that you've had this pwoer?" He wanted to take the subject of the two of them, without being rude.

"See I read your mind again. You want to get of the subject of us. For a while..now, Im going"
She continued to walk again and tears fell down her cheeks.

Gary felt a flare of anger at the way Roxy could read his thoughts. But this time he didn't stop Roxy. He let her go. It was too soon after dumping Andrea. He would talk to Roxy later. He made that thought very clear in his mind so Roxy could hear it.

Roxy carried on walking over the bridge and heard Garys thoughts. She looked thought the emoty windows of the bridge.
She though Why cant I just throw myself off, no one would notice...

Gary watched Roxy go. 'Why are girls so confussing?' he said. He didn't realy care if Roxy could hear him.

Roxys eyes filled with tears, Gary proberly hated her she was trying not to be suicidal..but she couldnt help but think about throwing herself off.
She felt empty and awful.
She looked back at Gary and Whispered."Im sorry.." She looked down and walked.

Gary saw Roxy look at him and her lips move. He tried to strain his ears to hear what she said, even being a vampire Gary couldn't hear it. He sighed and turned away.

She took it from his reaction he wasnt happy with her. The one guy she liked, lov..hated her. She cried and ran into the Forbidden forest.

Lavender looked at the old abondened house for a couple of minutes bedire turning to look at Marcuis. "I suposse...but it's still scary!" Lavender smiled at him before hand down on the bench besides Marcius's leg.

Gary turned around to see if Roxy was still there. He saw her running off into the Forbidden Forest. 'Why has she gone there?' he thought. Worried about her safety he ran off after. "Roxy?" he called.

She went further and deeper into the woods and looked up, bats flew low over head and she ducked missing one. It got colder and windy, she rapped her arms around herself to stop the shivering.
All she could hear was the trees swaying in the wind.

Gary sniffed the air to see if he could smell her. The wind howled about his ears and blew any trace of Roxy's scent away. Cursing he went on through the forest. "ROXY!" he yelled at the top of his voice.

Roxy turned her head and saw Garyin the distance. "Gary?" she called over to the misterious dark figure in the gloomy wood.

Gary saw Roxy, before she would be able to see him. "roxy, why did you come here? Its really stomry, a tree might have fallen down!"

Roxy shruged. "I dont mind..a bit of rain never hurt anyone."
She walked towards Gary and wiped her stinging eyes.

"I'm not worried about the rain. It's dangerous in here!" Gary looked around through the trees as he spoke. He then walked to Roxy and hugged her. "You're freezing! Come on, lets go inside."

"No..I dont want to.."
She looked down and wiped her smudged pande eyes.
"Its better here than anywhere else, In there everyone thinks Im a freak, I got hardly any friends.."
She looked down.

"But out here its freezing! And don't say that! I'm sure you've got plenty of friends." He rubbed Roxy's arm, trying to warm her up.
