The Yule Ball

Jasmine entered the Yule Ball wearing a long black stapless gown with her hair was neatly done up in an elegant bun with white dahlia flowers tucked behind her ear. She walked over to an empty table and sat down and she scaned the place looking for any familiar faces. All she could see was mainly the Gryffindors dancing and having a good time and a group of Hufflepuff boys making obsene jestures at her. Jasmine ignored the boys and she scanned around the crowd to see if she can find Draco in there somewhere. She couldn't find him. So alone and a little nervous, Jasmine just watched the couples dance on the dance floor hoping Draco would show up and dance with her.

Lavender walked in wearing a strapless dress in Ivory.Her hair was in three ponytails all curled and weaved into each other.Her make-up was browneye-shadow with black underneath her eys,her lipstick was brown with a coat of lipgloss on top. She saw Harry and walked over to him."Hi Harry"she said.

Lavender took a cup and filled it with pumpkin jucie.She took a drink from the cup and watched everyone else dance.

After sitting alone at her table for about 10 minutes, Jasmine got up and she decided to find someone to dance with until someone from her house would show up. She sees Harry and she walked over to him. "Hello Harry."

Jasmine clenched her fists at her sides. *He's not worth it* she said to herself in her head. Jasmine unclenched her fists and said,"No, I was just looking for someone to dance with until someone from my own house or Draco shows up."

Lavender drinks somemore of her drink.She realises someone else had joined them. "Um....hello" she said to the women who came over.

Pase shook, he had never been treated more like aghost in his life. He was completly ignored by Harriate. He shook it off and turned around, he noted that two of the girls where dancing, ouch, where guys that afraid. He walked voer to teh two, he assebled his courage again and found his way to both the girls, if Harry wasn't going to go, he was. He went over to Scarlet and Ginny and asked.

"May I?" He put his hand towards Scarlet and waited for her to accept.

Lavender saw Harry's eyes wounder over to Ginny "Harry why don't you ask her out?"

Jasmine gave Harry a mean look,"There is no need to get nasty with me Potter. I was just being nice to you." She just realized someone else was talking to her and she shifted her attention to the other girl,"Oh hello. I'm Jasmine Granger, Hermione's cousin. I'm in Slytherin."

"Oh thats cool, I'm Lavender Brown and I'm in Gryffindor".

He looked up and saw Harriate "good evening Harriate, noce to see you again, wouldn't have thought this would be your, scene." he said with a weak smile "you look very nice, sorry I'm late, didn't think I was going to make it, having a good time?" he asked as he took his drink and took a few sips. He put it down and looked back to her wondering what her reply would be.

'It's great to see you again. Are you ok? Well...it's not...but i thought i'd better turn up for a bit. Got bored and came like this...curse my boredom.' Harriate joked smiling a slight blush on her cheeks from the compliment.
'I'm glad you came. It's actualy a bit dull. Just talking to pandora and Mr weasley. Wanted to scare pandora dressed like this. Don't think it worked.' harriate said sighing dramaticaly.
