The Yule Ball

Annabelle kissed him back and followed him to the dance floor. "I'd dance with you anyday." She said warmly and smiled.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and inched closer to her.

Annabelle kissed him once more and placed her arms around his neck.

Charles smiled and they began to rock back and forth to the music. He got even closer to her and kissed her gentle lips and continued to kiss them. Charles was in ecstacy, he was with an amazing and beautiful girl.

She smiled again and kissed him. Never had anyone made Annabelle smile and laugh so much. Never had anyone repetedly called her beatifull. It was as if she was in a dream, a wonderfull dream at that.

Charles continued to kiss Annabelle as they danced. He didn't care about the dance, he didn't care about the students, all he cared about was her. He could stay like this forever. With their lips locked and in each others arms.

Annabelle had never been so happy in a long time, and she hadn't felt this way about anyone before. All she could do was gaze into his deep eyes sparkeling in the light and hope it would never end.

Charles smiled and looked at her, he just stared at her as they danced. "I hope this moment never ends," He whispered in her ear. That was true, he felt so good when he was with her. She seemed to make everything wonderful.

Annabelle leant against him and placed her head on his shoulder and whilst she did it she whispered back "So do I." She felt as if charles and her were inside a bubble, and there wasn't anyone else around it, just them.

Charles held her closer and imagined that bubble. Just leaving the two of them together and the rest of the world outside.

They both swayed to the music slowly. She loved it. Charles brought a sence of comfort and warmth to annabelle. No one else to bother them. If it was a dream. It was the best dream Annabelle had ever had.

Veronica sat down in an empty corner crossing her arms. She was bored out of her witts and she felt like she had dressed up for nothing. She noticed more people entering the hall, and skimmed the crowd with her eyes, hoping for someone to strike up a conversation with. She sighed, seeing no one, and stood up to leave. The first step she took and the clutz in her shown as she tripped over her dress and fell face first onto the floor. She laughed a little, knowing she hurt her wrist, and stood back up. She figured out a long time ago that it'll help the situation alot more if you just laugh and move on, so she did, and she headed out the door and to the hospital wing for her wrist.

Ben departed from his glares at the muggle born students,till he noticed a 5th year girl that had fallen flat on her face he smiled and mumbled a few words over the cakes and went to help her up

She saw the boy who moved to help her up.

"I'm fine." she called to him from about 20 feet away. "Just being a ditz." she laughed, cradling her left wrist in her right hand. She walked out of the hall.
