Interactive Class Room (lesson # 1)

Veronica put her notebook face down on the table and walked over to the shelf, reaching through the rest of the class to grab a toad. She couldn't quite reach so she waited until most were gone to grab one. As she grabbed it, it croaked and she let out a small disgusted laugh and headed back to her seat.

Pase lift from his seat silently and walked towards the desk. In an arm movement he picked up a toad and lookd at it's neck engulf as it croaked. They better not kill these things.

Ben quickly drew his items already having thoughts of what else he could do with this frog.

Now...we are going to make our first potion. Put your cauldrons on the burner...heat it to 350

Turn your potions book to Shrinking potion. The look up the ingredients, go to the stock room and gather what you need.

You have 15 minutes.

OOC:When making a potion write everything down that your doing while making the potion. I want the ingredients you use and the color of the potion. Don't put it on your toad until I tell you to. We are going to use the dice sytem to see if your potion works or not. Gonna be alot of fun.

Pase nodded and turned to the list of ingrediants, he memorized them then walked towards the pantry. In a movement he opend up the door and fished his hand in for the proper ingrediants. He pulled out a toads toung, a bat's wing, a mouses tail, and some unamed herbs. He went over to his pot after carfuly getting the ingrediants. He set the burner to 350 and checked the potion ingrediants again. When he deemed it hot emough he placed a bit of water within it and placed the herbs first, followed by the animals kimns. With his wand he made the ingrediants crush and spin slowly. In a few minuetes the water within had turned into a bright green, he nodded and reveiwed the list.

Scarlet entered the room and walked up to Profesor Gryffindor's desk and handed her a note. It said:

Professor Gryffindor,

Miss Rose was excused from class due to a family emergency.

She is perfectly capable of keeping up with and such, so please do not refrain from giving her homework.

Scarlet waited for Professor Gryffindor to give her instructions.

Your potion failed, due to the wrong indreients. The potion turned orange, started bubbling..bubbles started getting bigger and higher, until it blew up. Covering Pase in orange goo. Causing his skin to break out in boils all over. You now have to go to the hospital wing.

You might want to look up the ingredients next time.

If you roll a 6 or higher, your potion was made correctly, but only if you posted the right ingredients and prepared it correctly and have the right color of the potion.

Veronica had collected the ingredients listed on the page: Caterpillar, Daisy roots, Leech juice, Rat spleen, Shrivelfig, and placed them next to her cauldron turning the burner on and starting to prepare it as told. She then added the said ingredients and stirred it until it turned an acid green. She smiled, knowing she had performed the task correctly and took out a small bottle and filled it with the potion to give the Professor.

Pase stood up and turned around , he wasn't reacting to the boils bubbling all over his skin. He simply left the room and headed for the hospital wing.

Once you have your potion ready take a dopper and put one drop on your toad.

Harriate took a dropper and using a small amount of the potion dropped a single drop on the toads head and watched in fascination and her toad shrunk into a tad pole and grinned glad the potion had worked.
