Interactive Class Room (lesson # 1)

Walks into the class room to prepare for the first lesson. Unlocks the ingredients stock room for the students to use while in class. Walks around the room checking all the burners, making sure everything is in order. After everything seemed to be in order, she made her way to the desk. Pointed her wand at a bookshelf, levitating a large potions book to the desk. It slowly floated the the desk hovered over it and then fell with a thud. Using her wand she flipped through the pages. Using her wand she wrote on the chalk board.

"Welcome to Potions."

"Please take a seat and set your cauldrons out on your desk with your potions book and your potion making kit."


*She then sat down waiting for the students.*

Harriate hurried from the common room straight to Potions in the morning rather than the great hall. No way was she being late for this class. Opening the class room door she smiled at the professor.
'Good Morning professor.' Shesaid as she set up her cauldron and potions kit on the nearest desk as well as pulling out her book and a muggle pen as well as a muggle notepad. Much more practical for potions.

Jasmine walks into the dungeon ready to begin her potions lesson. Potions was Jasmine's favorite subject and she always had fun with it. She sits at her desk and sets up her cauldron and takes out her potion making kit, her potions book, parchment, ink and quills. Jasmine waits patiently for the class to begin.

She looked up as the students started arriving.

"Hello", she said to both of them smilling.

Jasmine looked up at Pandora,"Oh hello, Professor Gryffindor. How are you?"

Harriate sat down at the table and pulled her potions book towards her. Flicking to a marked page she made some notes on the potion in her note book and some possible improvements she wanted to try while waiting for the class to begin.

Ben quickly scurried to his desk at the back scrambling for his page

Ben looked happy to see the potions class again shortly before amusing himself with Harry's disgust

Let's see ummmm....poison,no,spider repellant,no said Ben reluctantly searching his books

Annabelle walked into the potions classrooom with her bag on her shoulder. She sat down next to Jasmine eager to work hard in her favourite subject. By now the classrom was begining to fill up but the lesson haden't started properly yet. She gazed in wonder at all the cauldrans bubbling and the potions brewing.
"Good morning professor." Annabelle smiled at the professor as if butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. Although potions was her favourite subject and she did well in it, her mind still wandered onto the thought of her exams.

Pase Impor entered the room, his beedy eyes scanned the room quickly, he noted several things. Harry slouching over abook, a Slytherin grinning maleciously, another one that looked happy. A moody one in the corner, a person he had never seen talking to the teacher, which he had never seen before, but knew. He half glided to his seat in large strides, in a moment he had pulled onto a seat and lifted his cauldron overtop of the pilot light. He set up his potions kit to the left, and his book to the right. Pase was ready.

She stood up walked in front of the chalk board and turned to the students.

"Can anyone tell me what the most imprtant important indredient is to any potion", she asked looking around at all the students?

Veronica had walked into the classroom just before the lesson started. She sat down, looking up to the front of the classroom. She didn't know the answer, though she thought she should.

Harriate rolled her eyes at Potter and hesitantly raised her hand into the air. She grabbed her pen writing notes as she waited.

She saw Harriates hand fly into the air.

"Yes harriate do you have the answer? Please tell us, she said nicely to Harriate."

''err...is it..' harriate suddenly changed her mind realising it wasn't water. not THE msot important anyway.
'The most important ingredient to any magic is the magical power of the wizard creating the effect. The weaker the wizard the weaker and more volatile the potion, leading to explosions. A wizard or witch who has strong, controlled magic should be able to create the perfect potion as long as they followed the instructions..'

Pase sighed, he loked down at his desk, he had no possible way of knowing that, amazingly she did.

Veronica looked over at Harriate as she said the answer. This class was the most brilliantly boring one at Hogwarts, but her parents thought she needed it. She was doodling and it was taking up the whole unnoted page with a large wedding cake with two people at the top, who she meant to be her brother and fiance. The pointed her wand at the page under the table and they suddenly came to life, waving to her, held each others hands, kissed sweetly and then started to pick up small pieces of cake and throwing them at each other like a food fight, both smiling and laughing.

"Now I would like you all to go get a toad out of the box on the shelf to your left. Bring the toad back to your desk. You will also need a jar with water in it. I will give you all ten minutes to do this."

*She then turned and walked to her desk and sat down with a sigh, while she watched them all run about the room getting ready.*
