The Yule Ball

She took the butterbeer and smiled as she sat down.
"Things are great thanks, and yourself?"
She took a huge sip of her butterbeer.

"Things are OK." Gary didn't want to tell Roxy that he was thinking about leaving cause of what had happended....

Roxy rubbed her broken arm and smiled. "Great!..you feeling better after, well you know about the week ago?..."
She still felt edgy about being around Gary.

"I'm fine! It'll take more than that to really hurt me. Got a few battle wounds though!" Gary wanted to try and keep the atmopsphere light but he knew that he had scared Roxy. A lot.

"umm...Yeah same.."
She held her arm nervously.

Gary smiled but it faulted and he looked away. "Look Roxy, you know I really am sorry for that. Truly [spl}."

Lavender laughed.

"No...don't apologise! Never apologise to him!"

"ok if your sure you dont want me apoligising" marcius then scratched his ankle which still hadnt healed from the night before, wishing it would hurry up so it wouldnt be so itchy. when marcius withdrew his hand from his ankle it was covered in blood and he wiped it on his black jeans

Lavender noticed the blood. "Is your ankle alright Marcuis?"

"just aching a bit from last night" he tried to smile while saying this "nothing to worry about, ill be fine" he added although he was turning a little pale "my ankle never takes this long to heal why is it this time" he thought to himself

Lavender smiled. "Good! But you do look a little pale...are you sure your alright?"

Leia walked down the steps in a simple plain black dress with a few black jewels encrusted on the shoulder with her black converses on her feet, shes wasnt much of a girly girl she tried to make the least amount of noise to be notisable as possible just slipped in and sat down at a table. She just came to see what it was like..

Gary walked into the Yule Ball. He was wearing a fitted black suit with a white shirt and black tie. He was wearing black converses as they were the most comfortable and easy to run in. He walked over to a girl who was standing near by. He hadn't seen her before so thought he would introduce himself, "Hey there, i haven't seen you before so i thought i would introduce myself. I'm Gary Nightshade." He smiled.

The name Gary rang through her head and the she remembered..he was a vampire, she felt her throat close up so she could barely talk. "Imm....Leia.....Summers..." Hardly being able to speak.

Gary's smiled faltered. 'S*** she knows im a vampire!' "Look just so you know i ain't gunna hurt you." Gary looked over to the other guy who had come over and smiled. He liked introducing himself to new people except when they reacted like Leia had.

Rose wandered over to her two friends, still tipsy from her slightly illegal drinks. "'Sup guys?!" She threw her arms around Gary, almost spilling her drink. "Garrrryyyyyy darling!"

"Oh hi Rose. Umm i think you've had enough of that." he said as he took the glass away from Rose.

Leia quickly got up and ran after Aaron, dodging people along the way, she reached the door out of breathe and looked each side but no sign of Aaron, she looked down and sat on the steps of the main entrance.

"Oh, you're a spoil sport!" She laughed at Gary and turned around to see that Leia had disappeared. She turned back to Gary and whispered, "Do you think I scared her away?"

"No you didnt I did." With that he ran off after leia, he saw her on the main entrance steps and ran over. "Wait don't run off, please. I'm not going to hurt you i swear. Look i take a potion to stop me." He pulled out the bottle of dark red liquid.

She looked at Gary then at Aaron, "Its ok Gary...I didnt run away, I was just trying to find Aaron but he dissapeared.." She laughed and smiled at Aaron.

Rose followed Gary and called after Leia too. "Ohh is that what you were worried about? Gary is perfectly harmless!" She giggled and pretended to bite his neck, wrapping her arms round his chest as she stood behind him on the steps.
