A Walk around the Lake

Andrea hugged him back sorta, then shook her head "Nope.. I havent.. Have you?"

"Nearly, very nearly but came back to my senses just before i... bit.. her." He looked away. He was ashamed of that night.

Andrea frowned a bit then started leaning against him. "Its hard trying Not to bite people."

"Yeah i know but ill give you some potiuon and show you how to make it. It helps a lot. You jsut have to remeber to keep taking it and make sure you have enough." He looked away as he said that. 'Unlike me, what an idiot' he thought.

Andrea smiled a bit at him "Okay.. Thanks Gary" Then drea started thinking ;;I wonder who he likes..;;

"being a vampire does have some advantages though" He wanted to try and lighten the mood. "I mean, we have excellent hearing and eye sight, well once you get used to it."

She laughed and smiled at what Gary said "That's true.." Andrea looked up at the sky when she felt drops come, It was raining.

"I love the rain. It has a strange calming affect on me." He looked up and smiled as the rain hit his face. he shut his eyes and breathed deeply.

"I love the rain too." Andrea got up and took off her hoodie then wrapped the arms of the hoodie around her waist. she sat back down next to Gary feeling very calm with the rain.

Gary laughed. "You're a first. Most girls run in screaming with books over their heads when it rains. As if thats going to stop you getting wet?!"

"Haha, yeah.. and I guess im way different from the other girls." Andrea said smiling at Gary.

"Hmm true. Does anyone else know about you being a vampire?"

"Nope.. You're the only person that knows." Drea started frowning then asked "Who else knows that you're a vampire?"

"Oh most people do now. At first i only told a few close friends like Rose and Roxy but then as you get used to it, you become more open about what you are. Sometimes its good for people to know, they can be on their guard incase something goes wrong. It depends on the person."

"Oh.." andrea sitll frowned a bit "I bet the Jasmine Granger or whatever would use it against me."

Rose stopped abruptly as she heard voices. Recognising Gary, she waved her tail in the secret sound signal she hoped only he would hear. So he knew she was there. Andrea seemed nice and everything, but there was something about the way she'd talked to Ron about muggles which made her uneasy. She didn't want to go too close.

Gary smelt the air and looked around.He could hear Rose's tail waving. "Can you smell that Andrea? Thats Rose, whens shes in her fox form. Rose, you there?" He called out.

Andrea turned around looking for Rose in her Fox-form then asked Gary "Rose is a Ani. ?"

"Yeah, she found a book about it and taught herself. Everyone, aniaml or human has their own scent. You get used to the scents of your friends, so you can reckonise them from quite a distance."

"Oh okay." Andrea kissed his cheeks for the 2nd time "I hope Rose likes me as a friend atleast."

Rose padded towards them, transforming as she went. "Good evening."

Andrea smiled "Hiya Rose."

"And, yes, I am an animagus..." She smiled back at Andrea. "Isn't it nice to meet two vampires on one dark night by a lake..."

She laughed and said "That's awesome, begin an animagus.. And I guess." Andrea laughed a bit at the 2nd part rose said.

Rose peered over the edge, staring into the bottomless depths of the inky black waters. The rain was making tiny splashes. Rose wondered briefly how much rain it would take to flood the lake. "Nice weather for it," she said, unsure what 'it' was.
