Lesson five: Dealing With the Undead

"I don;t think someone could bite into their own neck Harry.. if they could, it would be a good, but sick party trick... Once a body is reanimated.. turned into a zombie, once they bite someone else.. they will then die and come back, be a zombie themselves, like a virus.. transferred through the blood, salvia."
"Does a Zombie have Any intelligence?"

Cho ran in the classroom as she closed the door behind her quickly "Im..sorry im late..um got held up.." It was a lie but she didt want to say the real reason in front of class.She took a seat at the back of the class room,notcing that no one had their books out she put her bag on the floor,just relsing the odor in the room as covered her nose with her sleve on her top.

Jasmine walked into class carrying a hall pass and her bookbag on her shoulder. A heavy smell hung in the air but, it didn't seem to bother her at all. "Sorry I'm late Professor. I was helping Snape clean his office again." She said as she handed Lupin the hall pass and took her seat and she smiled at him and said,"Ahhh...I see that we are covering the undead today. Well, this should be fun." Jasmine said very amused by the smell and she took out her quill, notebook, and ink ready to take notes.

Jasmine nodded to Harry and watched Ginny rubbing her hands. She didn't know why everybody was freaking out because, corpses didn't really bother her. Jasmine had been around death her whole life.

"But they have a primitive instinct.. the oldest one, to eat.. and to eat meat which is proven to help our own brains develop.. but not many people have studied one of these for very long.. I believe they have some memory and some intelligence and.. they need a brain to .. reanimate anyway.."

Jasmine quickly jotted down everything Remus said into her notebook. She listened carefully and she raised her hand.

Romilda sneaked into the class wishing that she wasn’t noticed. The smell was overwhelming. She grimaced and took out her parchment and quill and started writing what professor Lupin was saying.

Ron felt really sorry for the zombie. Everyone was just sitting and staring at it, it had no say in anything. It was sick in his opinion. the smell was making him feel slightly sick aswell.

Romilda just stared at the zombie open mouthed. "err professor?" she asked raising her hand "How is it that something dead can come back, even in such as bad condition?"

Cho sat at the back of the classroom,listening slightly to the convesation of the class,her mind was else where.She looked to the back of Harry slightly,smiling.Then turnt her head to look towards the window.She didt want to exactly look at the creture,it made her feel sick aswell as the smell,but she knew it wasnt the creture fault.

"Well it's to do with the Nerves in it's Body.. they trigger off, a spark in the brain, allowing motor functioning.. walking, and the instinct to eat.. it's known that even without a stomach, they will still crave for flesh.. When you remove a chickens head.. the Body continues to move.. the same with a snake.. it's just the nerves in the body, still recieving the imformtion from the brain."

Jasmine quickly jotted down everything Remus said in her notes. This was interesting stuff.

"Any more questions I will be happy to answer anything?" He said looking a the class

Romilda shook her head not able to think of anything else. She turned back to her parchment and started taking notes again.

Romilda looked up waiting for a answer.

Jasmine sucked from the tip of her quill. She waited patiently to jot down more notes.
