THE START OF TERM BALL!!

Cody looked towards the door of the Great Hall and then sighed,he looked and then said to himself "Slytherins never give up!"he looked and then walked over to the edge of the door and leaned against it looking into the hallway and the great hall and saw that an fight may start up

Harriate gave the Remus a small smile.
'i'm taking a brake from the stage. And i didn't think it was wise to leave you lying asleep on the stairs. Why don't you head back up to your quaters?'

"Need to make sure it's going alright, nonre of the other Professors seem to be here, can't jusy leave even if I wanted to." He said sitting up "I'm fine should be alright now, just needed fifty winks." he said yawning again and picking up his drink and sipping it.

'If your sure.' Harriate said worriedly.' I hope another professor gets here soon then so that you may rest.'

Lupin nodded and got up from the steps and headed back into the great hall wincing slight as the music level, but got adjusted to it and sat back down putting his drink on the table next to him and watched over the ball to makes sure everything was alright.

Jasmine's song ended and the crowd was even more loud and the Slytherin boys were more rowdy than ever with their catcalls, wolf whistles, and howls. Again, one of the boys screamed 'MARRY ME JASMINE!!!!!!'. Jasmine takes a deep breathe and she speaks into the microphone,"The next song is going to be another slow one. It's called 'I Wanna Be With You' by a muggle named Mandy Moore." The band plays again and Jasmine's beautiful voice fills the Great Hall once again.

Cody looked at them talking then turned back looking into the Great Hall and then sighed,He saw the students having alot of fun,but he did not want to get invole with anyone,so he walked in and then sat down near the food table and then stayed there,

Harriate watched Lupin to make sure he was alright before pushing through the crowd and jumping back onto the stage.
'sorry about that.' she apologised to Jasmine grabbing her guitar.

Cody looekd at the stage and then said nothing,he picked up and apple and headed out again and then said"Hello Professor are you okay!"he looked at him with an slight worried in his eyes,Cody felt something was diffent when he was around lupin

Jasmine's song ended and the crowd went wild again. The Slytherin boys were more rowdy than ever. Again catcalling, whistling, and howling and the same boy screaming over and over again 'MARRY ME JASMINE!!!!!' Jasmine rubbed her temples and tapped Harriate on the shoulder and said,"You take over. I'm going to get some fresh air." Jasmine walks off the stage.

Walking up to the mic harriate scanned her eyes through the crowd.

Jasmine walks over and sees Professor Lupin and a boy,"Hi Professor Lupin. Is everything alright?"

Cody looked at Professor and then nodded and then turned and saw an girl walking over,he steped away from the professor and looked at the girl.Cody was really shy around people.but not around hadgrid.

Cody looked and then said"you should get some rest Professor lupin,I will go and find another professor!"

Harriate jumped off the stage for the next person as she needed a break and walked towards Remus and saw someone else there. turning to cody she smiled.
'hello. Might i ask your name?'

Cody looked and then saw another girl coming out of the Great hall and then said" My name is Cody!"he looked and said it in an quite tone,Cody was unsure of people,he has not been around alot of people sinice he came to hogwarts first year.

'Nice to meet you Cody. And how old are you?' Harriate smiled seeing he was nervous trying to reassure him.

Cody looked and then said"I am in the 5year so i am 15 coming up sixteen!"he looked at the girl and then said"Whats your name?".He looked at her and then backed slowly and felt really uneasy,cause he does not want his dark secert to come out into the open,Cody looked and said to himself in his mind "I do not anyone know my secert!"he looked!.

Harriate smiled at him.
'My names Harriate. Lovely to meet you Cody. Have you been at hogwarts long?' She asked kindly.

Cody looked at Harriate and then said"I been here since I can remeber,The headmaster brought me to live here after my mother died,when i was only young!"he looked at her and then began to think he is going to let it slip that he is an werewolf.

'Im sorry to hear that. it can be hard without parents. I know what its like.' Harriate said sadly. 'Im glad you found a home in Hogwarts, you'll have to give me a tour. i transferred this year. I keep getting lost.' Harriate smiled.

Cody looked and then smiled an little and then said"you want to be an friend to me!"he looked and then began to think is it a good idea.Cody looked and then said"I know its hard but the thing is I never knew my father so I must have one out there somewhere! and sure i will show you around!".

'Id love to be your friend. If you ever want to look for your father ill always help out. Us orphans got to stick together right?' She smiled and held out her hand for cody. 'Friends?'

Cody looked at Harriate and then tooked her hand and then shooked and then said"you are my first friend!"he looked with an smile and then said" So do you want to go and look around the school now or wait till another day,cause your friends are waiting in the great hall!"

'Il do whatever you want to do. Tell you what...why dont you come up on the stage with the band with me? id love you to come up. Ill show you some of the songs i wrote..what do you say?' She asked hoping he would. She had taken a real shining to cody.
