The Yule Ball

Gary got up, stumbled a bit, then let himself be lead. "Ooooh, a dark corner!How romantic!" He giggled and finished off his drink. "And yer i think you're beautiful! You and Roxy both are/were."

"Oh now I see! Me and Roxy, eh?" She laughed too. "Yes, romantic. I think. I'm not sure. Is it?"

"Oh yes! Very." He smiled then lent forward and kissed Rose on the lips. He came back quickly with suprise on his face. "Oh err im err sorry. Didnt mean too......"

She was taken by surprise. He often did this as a joke but she had a strange feeling he wasn't joking this time. "No, no, it's ok..." she trailed off. Then she pushed him against the wall and kissed him properly, not sure what she was doing herself.

Gary kissed her back and wrapped his arms around her waist. His mind was fuzzy from the alcohol but for some reason this felt....right.

Rose wasn't drunk anymore, but she felt strange and light-headed. She turned so that her back was against the wall and Gary was in front of her. Her arms immediately found their way up his back so she was holding his shoulders. She moved away from his lips and began to kiss his cheek, then down to his neck.

"Yeah, I guess, theres nothing like spending your first Yule Ball alone...where did you run of to then?" She gave a slight giggle.

"It was all girls school, but look at me..its obvious I was the loner there.." She looked down.

"Thanks!, yeah..well they all made fun on me..Emo girl, yeah I hated school thats why I came here..Just I hope I can make friends unlike my old school." She looked at Aaron. "I guess you didnt like your old school either..welcome to the club" She gave a slight smile.

"I guess we can be loners together.." She laughed placing her hand on his lap slowly then quickly removed it.

Leia gave a wide smile and looked at Aaron, "Would you like to...go for a walk?..now?..I meen you dont have to.." She said stuttering.

Aaron got up out of his seat.
"Yeah sure.."
He grinned.

She smiled and got up aswell.."Where would you like to go?"
(Have to go, Ill be on around half an hour when Im home xxx)

"Anywhere away from here!"
He walked out of the hall still holding Leia hand.

Gary held Rose against the wall as she kissed him. 'Is this cause i'm drunk or is this serious?' he kept thinking.

Rose stopped kissing Gary suddenly. He seemed to continue, but she stopped reacting and tried to pull away. Her back was, quite literally, against the wall. She tried to push him away, but he was too heavy for her...

Gary stepped backas he felt Rose push him. "I'm sorry, did i hurt you?" He looked at her with concern on his face, what was he doing? she was his best mate......

"Two questions," she said. She didn't move away, she trusted him that much. "One. Are you drunk? Two. Is this right?"

Gary blinked a few times. 'Had that jsut happened?' he thought. "One, I'm merry not drunk! And two im not sure." He sighed, "Maybe it isn't, maybe we are too good a friends, maybe this is wrong... Its all maybes" He looked away from Rose and sighed again.

"Gary darling," she said with the air of a romantic heroine, clasping his face in her hands. "You are never merry. Sober, or off your face, but for you there is no in between." She smiled at him and wiped her lips to try and reposition her lipgloss. "It is a lot of maybes, you're right about that one."
