The Yule Ball

"Well sort of we only met today, um Milo will you dance with Roxy?" Lavender asked polietly. She knew Roxy would kill her but it'll be worth it to see them two dancing.

Cara entered the Yule ball smiling and looking around at everyone, since she came to this school she hadn't been to any events so she was pretty excited about this one.

She was wearing a baby pink dress that came down to her knees with black laces all around the edges and a silk black bow tied around the waist and black high heels.Her hair was down in long waves which trailed down her back,Cara walked over and took a seat next to some other people who didn't seem to be having quite the time of their lives.

Roxy glared at Lavender and she definately would kill Lavender for saying that, but she would be greatfull for asking.

Luckly If he said No she could slip away without Milo notcing seeing as she had her back to him the whole conversation.

Lavender turned to see Cara, she smiled. "Hi" she said. Then she turned her head to Roxy to see if she was still red in the face.

Lavender siped some butter beer still waiting for Milo's reply, she then looked around at the couples agian sighing as she didn't exactly likeing seeing couples when she was single.

Milo grabbed Roxy's and and pulled her to her feet 'I'd love to dance'

"You knew that was me?"

Roxy Smiled at Lavender and Mouthed 'WOW'

"Yeah...I've been dancing with Ron alot!" Hermione laughed,and noticed Harry wasn't enjoying his self "Harry it's not everyday we have a night like this,now come on,just do it." she laughed and pulled him to the dance floor,she immediately started to dance,laughing. She tried speaking over the music so Harry could hear "Have you danced with Ginny today then?"

Lavender smiled at Milo and mouthed "Thankyou". She was happy that she got someone to have fun, but now she had to find someone for herself which wasn't as eay as it looked.

Milo laughed and tryed to shout over the balring music 'Of course I knew it was you, I never forget a pretty face' He lead Roxy by the hand to the dance floor.

Roxy blushed and turned to Milo as the music started to play.

"Well You dont Look to Bad In Your Suit"

Roxy Replied with a Smile.

Milo gave an uneasy face 'I hate this suit, its too itchy! 'He laughed and danced with Roxy'

Ron walked towards an empty seat. He was enjoying him self, even if he did look like a complete loner. He watched as the couples danced, hopefully they wouldn't break their legs or anything. Ron took a sip of his cup he was holding and continued to watch the couples dance, trying not to laugh.

Roxy smiled and couldnt help but look into his dark eyes, like she was under a spell.

"Your an Amasing Dancer"

Lavender looked round and saw Ron, she gave him a slight smile even though he wasn't facing her, she took the last sip of butter beer and got up to get more.

Hermione stopped dancing,and then turnt towards Harry "Well you know the solution then don't you?! pack up to the courage and ask her...before somebody else does."

'I've had lessons, my dads had me at too many fancy parties' Milo smiled, he was starting to actually enjoy himself.

Ron tured his head a little. His jaw dropped when he saw Harry and Hermione. 'I bloody well knew it!' He thought, standing up and kicking his seat back. He headed towards the drinks table. Once he got there, he bumped into Lavender "Oh urmm..hi" He said.

Lavender smiled at Ron "Hi...um..." Lavender didn't know what to say, it had been a while since they had talked.
