Sun set.

Sirius glanced up and saw Harriate olding her chest, he could tell she was in pain, he wanted to rush to her and hold her close, to help her, but he restrained himself and continued walking slowly towrds her.

Harriate nodded weakley knowing it was Sirius even if he was a bit..different.
'yeah..he's..safe..'

Abandoning all calmnessand ignoring Harriate, Rose leapt to her feet, transforming and running towards the man, growling fiercely, baring her tiny white teeth. Her coppery tail was upright and bushy, her back arched.

Sirius walked faster towards them, trying to seem as though he was keeping a steady pace, not bothered about reaching Harriate.

Harriate reached out and grabbed rose with her free hand breathing laboured.
'hes..safe...leave..him..'

Rose growled a final warning in the direction of the stranger, but returned to Harriate's side. She didn't change back, but curled up on the grass, head in tail, glaring at the man.

Sirius watched Rose uneasily but continued walking, he finally reached them, He kept an eye on Rose, to make sure she wouldnt do anything,
"Hi." he said simply feeling more stupid by the minute.

Harriate looked up at Sirius and smiled weakley.
'Hello.'

Rose didn't move, just continued to glare. Her bottom jaw trembled, showing her sharp teeth again as a warning.

Sirius stared uneasily at rose but continued to talk to harriate
"Em... are you ok?" he said nervously still feeling extremely stupid.

Harriate placed a hand on rose telling her to calm down.
'm'fine..Are you..ok Sirius?'

Rose sensed his nerves and almost laughed. She transformed back, standing as she did so. "I'm sorry, I thought you were a threat." She extended a hand. "Rose Quattromini, and you are?"

He accepted |Rose's hand "Hi, Im Sirius Black.
He then focused his attention on Harriate again.
"Yeah, thanks"

Harriate smiled and closed her eyes waiting for her breathing to even out.
'You can..sit down..Sirius.'

Rose sat down again, curling up much as she had done as a fox. "Sirius Black, the famous animagus..."

Sirius sat down beside Harriate and looked out across the lake, thinking again of Himself and James, the many pranks they had pulled over and around the lake, how many times they had annoyed giant squid, missig the times they had together, the childhood that was lost in mermories of the past.

Harriate's breathing finaly evened out and she gazed sideways at Sirius.
It was weird having known the older Sirius for so long and here was his young self, having never been to azkaban.

Not entirely sure what it was that made her uneasy around Sirius, Rose sat up, her eyes darting in his direction every now and again. It was some kind of animal instinct, telling her he wasn't natural...
