A new book.

"Oh, hi!" Rose jumped away quickly, even though she hadn't technically done anything wrong. "So...what's happening?"

Abigail looked from Rose to Ron for a moment, wondering why Rose had jumped away, but didn't ask about it.

"Nothing really, as usual!" She said, laughing slightly "What have you been doing then?"

"Just...talking." It wasn't her place to divulge Ron's secrets to anyone, even Abigail.

"Talking.." Ron said truthfully exactly at the same time as Rose, his ears where bright red and his cheeks where slightly pink

"Cool" Abigail replied with a small nod, she wasn't sure they were telling her everything but she didn't push it - she knew people liked to have their secrets...

"Well I'm just going to do some homework, I think" She said, pulling out a book "Or try to, anyway!" She added with a laugh.

"Riiiight," Rose said, glancing at Ron who was still bright red.

"Have you seen Hermione Granger?" He asked, blushing as he said her name.

"No, sorry" She said to Ron, she had always thought he liked Hermione more than a friend, so she smiled when she noticed his blush "If I see her.. Ill tell her you were looking for her?" She offered.

Rose raised her eyebrows meanigfully at Abigail, who she hoped would take the hint.

"yeah..please do.." He said, with a small smile.."Have you noticed how beautiful she has been these last few days?" he blushed even more.

"Yes, yes..." Rose said, slightly distracted by the spider crawling up the wall. She stuck out a hand for it to crawl onto.

"I will" She said, she noticed Rose raise her eyebrows and smiled slightly at the hint.

Abigail smiled at Ron, he obviously cared for Hermione a lot... She hoped someday someone would love her that much "Yeah, she's always been pretty, lucky girl!" She said.

"Yeah..she has.." Ron said blushing more, with a small smile. "But then again, she is part of the Golden trio, she provides the looks and the brains" He said with a small laugh

"Well I wouldn't say she provides all the looks.." Abigail said, blushing as she realised what she had just said "But deffinatley the brains!" She added, laughing playfully.

"Looks are overrated..." Rose muttered to herself, regarding the strange spider on her hand.

"Hermione? your joking, she's the most beautiful girl in the world" Ron laughed a little "She provides most the looks then and Harry provides the rest" he laughed slightly

"And red hair counts for nothing? You're better looking than Harry!" She was still looking at the spider scuttling around her palm.

Abigail couldn't help but agree with Rose's comment and she nodded across at her.

Abigail smiled to Ron, picking only Hermione and Harry showed her that he obviously didn't think very highly of himself "Maybe its just you that thinks that" She said vaugly, with a slight smile.

"What do you mean, you dont think Harry's pretty?" He said with a small laugh "A pretty little girlie?" He laughed and smiled back a little

"Oh yes" Abigail laughed "Harrys a very pretty little girl" She joked.

"Yes, he's beautiful, especially when he wears a little pink dress, but he still isn't as beautiful as.." He lowerd his voice slightly "Hermione.."

Abigail laughed loudly, suddenly imagining Harry wearing a pink dress. She became quiet hearing the last part of Ron's comment, she didn't say anything but she smiled at him, in a sort of encouraging way.

"I've just had the most hilarious vision of Harry in fishnet tights..." She looked around guiltily. "I'll save that picture for another time..."

"Yes, he's alright in purple aswell, not to bad in green I must say, that strapless top he wore the other day, showed off his arms" He said, not even thinking he was funny.

Abigail laughed at the comment, she thought it was funny. "Hey, just don't let Hermione hear you saying that!" She teased.
