Brooke giggled From behiend the Hog's heads ridgy counter her father had just slopped a big clump of Mashed Potos on her Nose " stop it! " she giggled again looking up at her father. she plunged her bonny finger into the dish of mashed patoes and scooped out abit of it and poped it in her mouth " tastes great " she said smileing to her father
" ill see you next saturday! " Brooke shooted running away from the counter and manovering herslef into her jacket but before she could make it to the door she calieeded with rose makeing both of them fall over. " Oh.. goodness im so sorry rose " she said getting up qickly and putting out one hand to help her up, brooke Blusshed she had just inbarssed herself infront of not only rose but roxy and Ron as well.

Rose glowled slightly, but then transformed back, laughing as she did so. "It's ok!"

"I do not love her...sister Rose, sister!" He gave her a slight glare "I do not love her!" He seemed to be getting worked up about this.

"Oh, riiight." SHe tapped the side of her nose. "You DON'T love her. Crystal clear." She saluted him and winked at Roxy.

Brooke looked down at rose her checks scarlet " Im sorry i was with my dad " she said pointing behiend her " are you alright i did'nt hurt you did i? " she said babling slightley

"No, no..." She scratched her ear in a fox-like manner. "Not at all, I'm fine." Laughing at Brooke's babbling, she put a finger on her lips and said slowly, "Shush!"

"Stop it! I dont bloody love her!! I just dont now stop! stop stop!" Ron was getting more worked up by the minute.

"Ok, ok..." Rose said, just to shut him up. She didn't know who he was kidding. "You don't. Fine. I believe you."

"Thank you!" He said, suddenly relieved. He glanced at Brooke "Hey.."

"So...now that we've exhausted all normal topics of conversation..." Rose tapped her foot to a beat in her head. "What next?"

Ron started to think about Hermione, he went into a day-dram about her, he was now lost in thought. He had a sort of dreamy look on his face.

Noticing the Ron's rapt expression, Rose grinned and clicked her fingers in front of his face.

Ron blinked "Oh Uhh sorry...I was just thinking about..quidditch" He was obvoustly lieing, but it was the best thing he could think of.

"Quite." Rose stared at him, but wasn't really concentrating, looking straight through him as if he was a ghost.

"Fine.." He said, with a small sigh "I love her..I always have, but its not like she...loves me, is it?" He looked down, blushing a little.

"Yeah, she does. But-" Rose looked around furtively, grabbing his wrist gently and leading him into a side alley. "Think about this. Are you positive it isn't just because you spend a lot of time with her? Lots of people think they're in love with their best friends. Not saying you do that, but still, consider it..."

"Im positive.." He said in a quiet voice "Ive loved her for years, had loads of time to think it over" He looked at her "And Krum..." He said with a small glare "If he...touches her again, ill hurt him...really hurt him.."

"And another thing. I don't mean these are all your current situation, but are you sure you're not just in love with being in love?" She stared into the distance, wishing that she didn't have her condition.

Ron gave her a confussed look "What does that mean? I love her..and I dont care what anyone else thinks anymore, its been five long years...I find my self staring at her, all the time! thinking about her...Im sorry if you dont believe me, but I love her, I truely love her!" He said, honestly.

"What I mean is, do you actually love her, or do you just like the notion of being in love." She sighed and let go of his wrist. "I believe you. But don't mess it up."

"I love her.." He nodded "Ive had five years of thinking about it, im sure I love her.."

"If you insist. She likes you too, I'm pretty sure of that." She leant forward and kissed him gently on the cheek. "Good luck," she whispered.

"I uhmm..thanks.." He said, with a small blush, his ears had gone a light shade of pink.

Rose smiled at his blushing. In some countries, kissing was compulsory greeting, and yet she could still make a boy blush by doing so. She laughed slightly, just loud enough for him to hear.

Abigail walked into the room and saw Rose and Ron standing together. She headed over to them quickly "Hey" she said, smiling.
