A Waxing Gibbus/A Demon's night out

Harriate backed away looking at Remus sadly hoping Barty was happy now. She couldn't believe she had done this to him but it would keep him safe in the long run.
But he had the right to know...yet at the same time he would know he betrayed her again.
She couldn't handle this.
'just got here....saw sparks and ran...'

Jasmine still lay on the ground unconscious as more blood seeped from the deep gash on her forehead. She still lay on the ground motionless, as her life began to slowly slip away from losing most of her blood.

((OOC: Just so you all know, I'm not killing myself off. I'm just going to have a near death experience.))

She pulled Remus up into her lap. "Why is there someone always trying to kill my friend. I will kill the one responsible for this. It will not go unpunished. She ran her fingers through his hair and rocked.

"Please come to, my dear friend. I love you...please don't die on me."

"Remus can you talk talk to me..it's Panny" she said softly as a tear rolled down her cheek?

Harriate felt her heart twist and knew she couldn;t tell Pandora it was her. So she did the only logiacl thing before the tears fell. She ran. She ran like the hounds of hell were on her heels and she didnt stop running. She ran past the den and deeper into the forest futher than anyone had been.
Still she didnt stop. She had to run. To get away. All the time a single thought ran through her head.
'I love you Remus..I'm so so sorry.'

"I came to save you again", she said looking down to him with a smile.

"How do you feel"

...it seems like one of these people here poisoned you, she said looking around at the others. I plan on finding out who it was too."

"Professor Gryffindor...no one poisoned Professor Lupin...he was shouting, and then he just collapsed...I think that's what happened." She turned to Harry. "Am I right?"

She noted the tone of his voice, walked over to him and stood in front of him. She hadn't noticed how tall he was before. Or maybe she was just very short today. "Harry, he collapsed straight after he said that. He didn't mean it."

Jasmine still lay on the ground unconscious. The pool of blood around her grew and her life was only hanging by a thread.

"Harry, please calm down! From what I've heard, you should be proud to be like your father, but please stop!" Not knowing quite what to do, she put her arms around him and hugged him.

"I know you hate him right now, but-" she lowered her voice, glancing at Pandora cradling Lupin. "But if he goes...you won't want his last memories of you to be full of hatred..."

"Don't be stupid. You know that's not true." There was a hint of forcefulness in her voice. "Just calm down."

She let go of him and sat down on a tree root, hugging her knees. Patting the root next to her, she looked up at Harry. "Sit down and think about something else."

Rose looked at him for a long time. "My mum died when I was younger. Right after she'd had an argument with my dad. She was in a car accident. Dad never forgave himself. Said it was his fault..." She trailed off, not really caring if he was listening or not.

"It was...but then again, you know that..." Gently she touched his hand on her shoulder.

Rose smiled. "I was like you, I guess. I didn't really know my mum. I was about 1, I think. Dad said I had her eyes and her hair. And I always used to ask him if she wanted them back."
