Temptation

Tears ran down Harriates face as she struggeled against the ropes even more ignoring them as they rubbed into her skin cutting deeper.
'No please stop it...Leave her alone...She hasn't done anything..Please Barty...Please just leave her alone...you don't mean that.'

'NO LEAVE HER ALONE.' She yelled. She couldn't bare to see Pandora in so much pain.
'Crucio me all you want just please leave her alone. All she's done is love you and look out for you and you crucio her? LEAVE HER ALONE.'

Almost close to passing out now from the pain...she reachedd down deep inside getting streangth from within.

Accio..she said in her head... her wand flying into her hand.

"Expelliarmus"..she mumbled and yelled shakily pointing it at Barty!

Harriate gazed down at the wand but knew it wouldn't work. Her magic still exhausted from the previous night. Still it was worth a shot.
She shuffled slightly and managed to pick up Bartys wand and pointed it at the ropes.
'Diffindo.' The spell shot out weakly only managing to cut jsut over half way through the ropes. She struggled against them till they finaly snapped and quickly untangled herself.
She crawled over to Pandora first to check she was ok from the crucio.
'Pandora? are you ok?'

Pandora got up shaking so horribly she could barely walk. She picked his wand up and banished it to a safe place where he couldn't summon it.

"Relashio, she said pointing her wand at the ropes around Harriate. The ropes fell off.

She went back to Barty..."incarserous", she said pointing them at his body on the floor.

She then fell to the floor crying and weak as she looked around in shock.

She conjured a potion for Harriate. She poped the cork and held it to her lips.

"Drink this healing potion Harriate"

She looked back to Barty in shock and hurtful. He had betrayed her in the worst way. It was over for good, she now would turn her back on him and wash her hands of him. He would have killed her if she hadn't been string enough to stand the pain and fight back. Thats all that kept going through her head...was how he hurt her.

Harriate shook her head and pushed it back towards Pandora.
'You need it more than me.'

"I can get another..drink it..I can't argue with you now..please", she said with tears in her eyes.

She conjured another for herself...and drank it.

"He's trully gone now...isn't he", she said looking back to him?!

"He wasn't going to stop...was as good as killing me. Has killed me anyway", she said taking her cloak and wiping her face.

"Are you alright Harriate...do you need any more medical attention?"

Harriate shook her head and drank the potion grimacing at the taste.
'I dunno...he....didn't seem right...' Harriate glanced over at Barty and quickly wiped the tears from her face that had fallen when Pandora was being Crucio'd.

Pandora dragged herself over to where he layed..

She felt so sick at her stomache at what he had done..."Barty", she said without emotion.

Harriate glanced over at Barty as he woke up and instantly backed away in fear. Old habits die hard. She still hard Bartys wand in her hand but it was of no use.
'p..pandora..'

"Easy" she said coldy pointing her wand at him.

"Move slowly...One sudden move and I will kill you."

"Just like for you to know...that you just turned your best friend into your worse enemy", she said looking at him with red eyes.

"If I let you walk out of that door...will you come back to finish the job, she asked, her face screwed up, fighting not to cry.

"What are you on about...you just tried to kill us both..pretending now you didn't do it or don't remember", she rubbed her face with one hand while still holding her wand out.

"Drive you crazy...what do you think you have done to me."

"You want me to think you don't remeber and then when I turn my back you'll put a knife through my heart..just as you have tonight."

Harriate took a deep breath and gripping his wand tight ran after him.
'BARTY.' She yelled running out of the house.

Harriate ran after him through the gate.
'BARTY. BARTY STOP.'

She watched him walk out like it was no big deal to torture her till she went insane. He had hurt her this time to the point of no forgiving.

She followed them out to make sure he didn't turn on Harriate and hurt her again.

Tears fell as she now had to let him go forever.
