One Leads to Another

Harriate looked at him confused through red eyes tears still falling down cheeks before they widened slightly.
'You really were telling the truth?' She asked hopefully looking up at him in hope.

~You don't noo nothink~
He slurred as he let her go and he stumbled back on to the bench and sa down and yanwened loudly before picking up his bottle and swigging it.

Harriate looked at him in confusiong before sitting down on the bench arms folded to try and keep off the chill and shivered slightly. Hadn't taken long for the cold to sober her up a bit before she became like him. She looked down at the floor sadly wishing she knew the answers.

He passed her the drink
"Always hated balls, never was a good as you hoped~spent so much for one blooming night~ then get dumped, load of rubbisssh."

'yeah...sounds right....hate ball's...' She said and looked at the drink and shook her head. memorys of one ball in particular went through her head and she pushed it back. Wasn't going to happen.
'I'll pass. Shouldn't have drank that earlier. Don't know why i did. Stupid as usual i guess.'

"Depressed, you lost that ole git Barty, the death eater who never dies. Always, blood gets out of the sticky situations.."
He said putting the bottle down
"Might have a sobering up potion in here somewhere~"
He said going through his pockets and taking a bottle out
"Here.."
He said passing her it
"Use'em a fair bit'ta."

Harriate didn't even bother checking if it was what he said it was she just downed the potion. If he said truth it would be a dobering potion, if not, well she didn't care.
She whacked him around the back of the head.
'no matter what you say anytime you insult Barty i will hit you. And that hit was a warning.' She smirked slightly.

She watched them go on about Barty and smiled. She never thought this day would ever come. She turned back to the barman, asked for another drink and fell into a daydream, while Sam and Harriate talked.
