One Leads to Another

The door opened and Samuel walked into the pub and he went straight to the bar
"Right, think I might have a, Gilly Water for starters."
he said taking out some sickles and handing them to the barman and then taking his drink and swigging it back and shaking his head
"Wow.. that's the stuff, strong enough to knock the horns off a Horntail Dragon!"

She made her way to the Leaky. Open the door and walked in, looking around she spotted him and smiled walking toward him.

"Could'nt wait could you. Well I guess I'll have to catch up then, she said with a grin hoping up on the stool next to him."

She looked to the barman...I'll have whatever he had and she laid som e coins on the bar and turned to Sam.

"How was your day?"

He swigged his drink and looked back to her
"Been busy, just got back, takes a lot out of you, how are things this end?"
He Ordered two more shots and passed one to Pandora
"So heard you're sacking Remus Lupin, I would say, about time too, never thought he was safe, After Harriate and then, tell killing of the Death Eater, Barty Junior, never should use the Killing Curse, should have told the ministry, be lucky not to be locked up."

"Yeah, I guess, she said taking the glass from him." I have invited harriate to come, she should be here soon. It's gonna be hard firing Remus though, she said throwing the drink back and smilling.

"Wow..that was strong"

"Be for the best, safer, and the Ministry are behind you, be best coming from you though, might already be backing. Harriate?"
He put his glass down and looked back to Pandora
"One He bit, be good to see her."

Harriate entered the pub. She was stood straight and her eyes and face were expressionless. She walked up to the bar and ordered a large firewhisky placing some coins on the bar before downing the whole thing and ordering another one.

He looked over to the girl
"Take it you're Harriate."
He said with a cheeky looking smile.
He got up and sat next to her and ordered what she had had
"Bad day, sorry for you loss, couldn't have meant, that much to you did he?"

'Indeed i am and yes he did.' She said downing the second drink and ordering another. Still her face remained expressionless.
'And no before you say it i don't care he was a Death Eater,i don't care he killed his dad and i don't care if you say anything bad about him i'll just tear your throat out.' She warned still showing no expression as she downed the third glass and ordered another.

Sam took hold of her new drink and leaned over to hear and pulled her hair back and whispered something into her ear
"What do you think of that piece of filfth now, still, love him?"
He said taking his whisky and downing it and shuddering a littke
"Gonna feel it tomorrow."

She smiled at harriate as she entered, she let Sam talk to her while she drank her drink.

She knew Harriate would be a mess. But soon hope she would feel better.

Harriates eyes widened hearing what he had said beforer returning to normal as she turned her face to look at him eyebrow raised.
'You seriously better not be joking or ill personaly show you how the longbottoms ended up in st mungos.'

"I think I know how they did, I do work in the Ministry of Magic, I thank you, and I'm not going to be carrying you out of here, so lay of the amber lquid for a bit eh?"
He gave her a wink and a smile
"Things will better tomorrow, normally always works like this."

Harriate mearly grabbed the glass and downed it smirking.
'No i feel better with this inside of me. Pandora had the right idea.' She smirked and ordered another one.
'I'm hoping not to remember tomorrow.'
She knew what he had said yet still it either hadn't registered or she didn't believe him.

She finished her drink and ordered herself and Sam another one. She then looked to Harriate and winked.

"Heres to friends, she said holding her glass in the air"

He took his wand and pointed it to her glass as she drank from it and a baby bottle replaced it
"Much better,"
He laughed as he downed his drink
"Still think Wizards and Witches could be allowed to drink at 21."
He looked to Pandora and rised his glass
"To Friends."

Harriate glared at him and hit him around the back of his head and nicked his glass smirking and downed it.
'Are over rated and only let you down.'

He rolled his eyes
"Wasn't much in there anyway, nothing I hate more, and that's little brat that my drinks and think they know bleeping everything"
He grumbled
"Least you will run out of money before me, and you need to head all the way back to Hogwart, be going there myself, might have to take over DADA for a while till you get a new, better professor."

Harriate just shrugged and pulled out a sack full of galleons.
'Wrong iv'e been 'working' hard. I can go till at least dawn. And who said i'm going back?' She asked ordering another drink.
'No i don't know everything i just know that friendship is over rated and people always stab you in the back. if not literaly.'

"So what then just stay here till you end up so drunk you don't know up, from down."
he said with a raised eyebrow, ordering up a Red Currrent Rum and swigging it and then getting a refill
"No point in wasting a life, remember what I told you! guess that means nothing to you Harrie."

'yes because i'm just supposed to trust anyone i see when they tell me something like that. My life was wasted when i was born. Hence no parents. Probaly just as well just dissappoint them like i did Remus.'
Harriate played with a few coins on the bar not knowing wether to believe him or not.

"You did not disappoint him, he is the disappionting one, and he will get what he deserves for what happens, will see to that!"
He said putting his glass down on the bar firmly with a bang
"I'll be over the HQ later tomorrow afternoon, then be going to Hogwarts before he starts anything, then I will stand in."

Harriate just shurgged and ordered another glass downing it.
'I am going to learn not to care anymore and i'm not even going to think about what you just said.Because i don't know what to think right now or feel or anything else.'

"Right then, fine be a little stuck up brat who feels sorry for her self!"
He snapped before getting another whisky and leaving the bar and going to the fire place to keep warm

Harriate just sighed and payed for all ger drinks and staggered out into the cold air. She shivered as she was only wearing her usual tank top and arm warmers and sat down on the nearest bench shivering. She wished what he said was true. But at the same time it could all be a joke. There was nothing but his word. One little thing would proove it. She dropped her head into her hands crying.

Samuel stummbled out with a bottle sometime later humming a song. He looked up to see a bench and saw Harriate.
He made his way over and put the bottle down side the bech, then pulled her up, grabbing her hands and then humming a watlz, going round in a square
"Like, old *hic* times.."
