The Hunt

Yes thats right Charlie play it cool because guess who's house I'm heading for next?

She shook her Uncle harder.

"What's wrong with him?!" she coughed, closing her eyes so the smoke couldn't make them sting more and she grabbed his wrist and felt his pulse. "There's no pulse!" she shouted to him, sitting on her knees.

"BEN DID THIS??!?! Where is he now??" tears were now streaming from her cheeks and dripping onto Crispin's body. The light from the fire made Veronica look ten times more beautiful, even if she was crying.

((OOC: i gtg but im getting back on in like... 5 or 6 hours))

Charles got on his knees beside her uncle. He whispered some healing charms but it didn't work. He sat there and patted Veronica on the back. "I can't revive him he spoke solemly.

Veronica was sure to find Ben but he kept his calmness for once in a while the potion he forced Veronica's uncle to make him (shortly before killing him) had made him return to his cunning witty and evil self

Charles looked at Veronica glowing in the fire. She looked amazing even if she was upset, then he stopped. He was already with someone, someone he couldn't stand to be without.Charles cleared his throat. "So... we should get out of hear before we die from the smoke," He suggested.

Hmmmm.......i think I've guessed what might make my little pet tick,i have to strike at the people he holds closest,lets see what he does about that.

OOC(lets wait till veronica gets back so we can finish the thread)

Veronica continued to sob and then stopped and stood up. Her glassy eyes looked into Charlies.

"You... you didn't do this did you?" she asked, voice shaky from crying. She started coughing uncontrollably. She grabbed her wand whispering 'aguamenti' and the fire died a little, but was still raging on. "If B-Ben did this, where is he?" she said, looking around.

Charles looked at her. "Ben is gone he appariated," he explained to her. "We need to leave!" As the fire grew and consumed a tree

She felt like she couldn't trust him, like he was hiding something, only she had no idea what. She nodded and started getting dizzy from all the smoke. Her legs started getting wobbly as she coughed harder and harder, then she dropped onto her knees and passed out, unable to breathe in the toxic fumes anymore.

Charles had to make a quick decision and he took it. He grabbed Veronica and threw her over his shoulder. She's light he though to himself. Charles ran out of the woods leaving Ben's wand and her uncle, quickly he spun around and casted the extinguishing spell. The flames went out rather quickly, then he spun around and left the woods with Veronica

Ben quickly departed from his post,not caring about his wand but the fact the threats still remained,nothing stopped them from ruining his plans,but there might still be hope

Veronica had a strange feeling, like an idea. She didn't believe Ben did that to her Uncle.. Where was the proof? It could've been Charles. She didn't want to think about it, she considered him her friend, but how could she be sure?

Thoughts raced through her head as she continued to slip in and out of conciousness.
