The Hunt

"If you aim at me you'll heart both of us!" he roared with evil delight in his voice "who's going to be your hero now eh? this isn't fantasy this is reality" he roared like a madman

'Sounds like a madman' she thought about Ben, raising her chin trying to avoid the tip of the wand.

Charlie had so many thoughts in his head. He needed to save her from this monster, but how could he do it? How? He just didn't know. The auror stood up and roared "INCENDIO!"" The fire nearly missed Charles and lit the ground on fire

YOU WILL BOTH DIE BECAUSE I'LL KILL YOU! Ben had become drunk with power he couldn't think right he needed someone to let him think right,instead of a wise undercover death eater he had become a fool threatening people who were once his friends

The flames that were illuminating the ground matched one of Veronica's hair colors. The fire was spreading. This would be the distraction she needed to grab Ben's wand. She started thinking hard at a plan to get out of his grip.

The fire continued to spread and Charles pointed his wand at the auror. "STUPIFY!" The auror fell back unconcious.

"So sorry it has to end here old friends but none of us can LIVE!" he threw Veronica away and pointed the wand at both of them "AVARDA KEDABRA" it was just above Charlie's head when it backfired he was hit by an accidental jinx he forgot he could not use other people's wand and flew backwards

Veronica started to choke on the fumes.

"We all need to get out of here!" she yelled over the fire, coughing from the smoke. She hoped by talking that Ben wouldn't do anything.

She saw an opportunity and took it, diving for Ben's wand.

Ben lay almost lifeless in the burning flames but he would not die like this instead he screamed "SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR FAMILY'S,ENGLISH MANOR" he teleported out of site

Charlie ran over to Veronica "Are you ok?"

Veronica watched him scream, her wand still in his hand. She picked up his and tried to reach for him to keep him from going, but it was a hair too late.

"Aguamenti!" she shouted with Ben's wand. It was her first time using the spell and it failed, only spitting out a small drop. "AGUAMENTI!" she yelled, a blast of cold water shot out and covered the fire. It slowed it down but it didn't stop it. She continued to cough from the smoke.

She saw Charles trying to talk to her, and she took a step back and pointed the wand at him.

"Veronica I'm sorry for this, EXPELLIARUMUS!" He roared out disarming her "ACCIO WAND!" He retried Ben's wand from her. He ran over to her and called "STUPIFY!" At point blank hitting her in the chest.

She fell to the ground, hitting her head on a large dark tree trunk. She now lay unconcious on the floor, blood trickling from her mouth and her expression still looking betrayed. A small spark from the flames caught onto her robe and started growing bigger.

Charles used the extinguishing charm on her robe. He never wanted this to happen, Veronica was nice, but still she shouldn't of come in the woods. "AGUAMENTI!" He called out as water extinguished the fire. Charles knelt beside her, he wished his wand "OBLIVIATE!" Totally erasing her memory of the past events, then he flicked his wand again and healed her head. "Veronica are you ok?"

OOC:crazy twist right? and btw oblivitate erases people memories of certain things.)

She slowly opened her eyes, trying to keep them open.

"Oh my god." she said seeing the flames. She rubbed the back of her head having a weird feeling like she hurt it.

"What's going on?" she asked him sitting up and coughing.

"You followed me out here and tripped over a root and hit your head," He explained to her. "Only person I know who can trip over a root and pass out," Charles laughed and helped her up.

unknown to them Ben could see what had happened happy that Charlie had come to his senses

She laughed, standing up feeling dizzy and lightheaded.

"And where does the fire come in?" she asked, seeing him holding two wands.

"Who's is that?" she reached for her own. "Where's mine?"

"When you tripped you released a little spark from sneezing. It lit the woods on fire," Charles explained. "He handed her, her wand. "That wand," He pointed to Ben's, "I don't know.." He said coolly.

OOC:(oh ok)

"Oh, okay.. well I guess we should get out of here then." she said.

"Who's that?" she said suddenly, seeing the unconcious auror on the ground on the other side of the fire.

(OOC: Ben took my wand, you have his and yours)

Ben gritted his teeth solemnly "I'll be needing that" he thought and with the auror from Veronica's family dead at last the two playmates had something in common

She got a closer look.

"OH MY GOD!! CHARLIE!!!!" She went around the fire to the dead auror, Mr. Crispin English. She shook him, trying to wake him up. "WHY THE HELL IS MY UNCLE HERE??!" she cried, coughing, the smoke being almost the only thing she was breathing.

"WHAT?" Charles called running over to him. "It was Ben, I tried to stop him he explained,"
