A duel

Annabelle stared at the birds and rolled her eyes. "Now that's corny! Will you bloody well stop it!" Even tho it was realy corny she couldn't help but laugh. "I wish i could shoot you right now!!"

He laughed, "Ok ok, wanna get this duel on the road?" Charles kept laughing but got into his dueling position

She shok her head and got into her dueling stance. "of course i do." She smiled and with a quick jab of her wand "INCENDIO!" A ring of fire in the shape of a heart was drawn around Charles. "It's not just you that can do it you know." She laughed.

"Nice," He smiled and looked at the heart. "But I want to duel, FINITE!" The fire dissapeared. He waved his wand and the birds that were in the sky came flying for his opponent.

"Fine then." She ducked a little and spoke the incantation "IMPERVIUS!" An invisable wall formed around Annabelle. ONe by one the birds flew into it. Annabelle lost her consantration and the wall with it. "Oh bugger." She swished her wand "EXELLIARMUS!"

His wand shot out of his hand painfully. It flew across the floor and Charles stood still. He thought of diving for the wand but then he realized he could use a certain spell. "ACCIO WAND!" Charles called out. His wand flew from the floor into his hand. "Now let me return the favor, EXPELLIARMUS!"

Annabelle stood trying to think what to do. "FINITE!" She aimed her wand at charles once more. "EXPELLIARMUS!!" And with a swish and a flick action with her wand she called out the spell "WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA!" and pointed it at his wand.

Charles wand flew out of his hand and into the air. He jumped up for it several times but it was too hard to reach. "ACCIO WAND!" The wand flew back into his hand. "Expelliarumus! He called and then "Rictusempra!" Charles laughed,

Annabelle watched as her wand flew out of her hand "ACCIO W...." She burst out laughing. "THA....THA...THAT'S...NO..T...FU...FUNNY!!" She still couldn't control herself, she just had to laugh.

"Soooo I geuss your ticklish!," Charles called out with a grin. "Wingardium Leviosa!" He called moving her wand around the air then he called out "ACCIO WAND!" Annabelle's wand flew into his hand. "So it looks like I win this round," He laughed.

Annabelle wanted to fight back but couldn't. "I give up. yes i guess you do. You're the only person who knows what my weakness is now!!! Im AMAZINGLY TICKELISH!! Pathetic isn't it??" Annabelle laughed.

He laughed and walked to her he flipped her wand and called "Orchideous" Flowers sprouted out of the top. They were a different array of colors.Charles handed her the wand with the flowers at the top

Annabelle hugged charles but didn't realise untill afterwards. "u...umm thank you. they're beautiful!!" She smiled warmly at him.

"beauiful flowers for a beautiful girl," Charles smiled and hugged her again.

"aaawwww you're too sweet. did you know that??" She laughed slightly and hugged him.

He smiled, "Only when you tell me, so do you have a date to the yule ball?"

Annabelle smiled back. "No i don't. I don't think I'll go or not yet. it depends. Have you got a date?"

"Actually I don't, hey I don't have a date, you don't have a date, how bout we go together!" Charles suggested with a smile. "If you want to of course", Charles looked deep into her eyes and smiled.

"I'd love to." Annabelle felt like she was in a trance because she just couldn't take her eyes off him. "uummm why me tho? People say im just annoying."

"Well those people deserve to get hexed," He said to her. "You are so fun to talk to and your funny, and your just so beautiful" Charles said to her. It took alot out of him to say how he felt. This was such a relief to him to be with someone like Annabelle. All of his anger and frustrations were gone when he was with her.

"I desirve it tho. I like annoying people." Annabelle laughed and sighed dreamiy. "Really?? I think your cute too." She blushed. "And you're really fun to be around with. Oh yeah and you can kick my arse in a duel." She smiled but was still red in the face. Not many thins made Annabelle blush but somehow hearing charles talk about her did.

Charles hugged her and smiled. Then he leaned in for a kiss

Annabelle hugged Charles and kissed him softly.

Charles leaned in more and then whispered to her, " We better get out of here or it will be impossible to get past Finch," He kissed her again and then held her hand.

Annabelle giggled a little then whispered back into Charles's ear. "I agree. I bet he's outside now with his cat." She laughed even more and grabbed his hand and started pulling him towards the exit. "Come on then." She smiled.
