The Yule Ball

Rose heard Cho talking to Harry nearby. She grinned again and whispered in her ear as she passed, "Go get 'em, tiger!"

Annabelle smiled at Rose. "Well....im as happy as i could ever be at the moment." She said with the biggest grin on her face. "Oh and im not uptight." Annabelle laughed.

"Well of course you aren't uptight! You just got hugged!" She grinned - it was kind of contagious, all this grinning. "But seriously, what's so fabby?"

Annabelle started walking around in random circles daydreaming, when she suddenly switched out of it. "oh.....ummmm well..." She said still with the biggest grin on her face. "CHUCKLES IS BACK!!!"

"Wow!" Rose was always amazed by these two as a couple. It didn't stop her being happy for them though. "That is fantastic!"

"I dont think i've ever been this happy!" She said, her face glowing with happiness. "Anyway...enough about me. How are you??"

"Oh, well...much better than I have been," She frowned at the memory of the past few days. "I had some trouble with one of my muggle friends...but I feel amazing now! It took one letter and everything was fine!"

Annabelle smiled. "Well its good to hear you sorted everything out."

"Well, it was a relief." She poured herself a drink. "So, where was he then? Chuckles I mean..."

Anabelle smiled but then suddenly started having flashbacks of that night, the night he dissapeared. The night he jamp infront of a unforgivable curse for her. She rubbed her forhead furiously. "He..he jamp infront of the killing curse for me." Her eyes glistened with tears. "He was d..d..dead, but n..n..now he's back."

"Well there's one man worth hanging on to..." She hugged Annabelle again. "He really loves you."

Annabelle wiped away a stray tear and smiles slightly. "I love him too. I would jump infront of any curse for him."

Rose sighed. "I wish I could find someone like that...you're both really lucky."

Annabelle smiled slightly. "You will....dont worry about that, and who ever it is will be VERY lucky."

"Thank you..." She took a sip of her drink. "I hope you don't mind me saying, but you seem far too nice for a Slytherin!"

"Its ok. I get it all the time. I dont judge people before i know them properly, and if you're nice to me whell im nice back." She smiled "Ummm unless you're an order member or a muggle." She said with a slight coldness in her eyes.

"Oh, umm...I'm not in the order! I'm not on any sides..." She said avoiding the other part of the statement.

"Well that's ok then." She laughed slightly then gave out a huge sigh. "Sorry, i can't say that. To tell you the truth, im having soubts about which side i should be on. Its confusing."

"It always is...it'll always be a mental battle between what is right and self preservation..." She took another sip of her drink. "But there I go being a psychiatrist again...stop me if you feel like you're in therapy!"

Annabelle stood there laughing. "Its ok. I dont fell like im in therapy. My lifes way to complicated for therapy!" She laughed even more.

Rose smiled, relieved that Annabelle wasn't questioning her about her blood. She liked Annabelle, but she couldn't deny her roots. "So...is Chuckles going to give you the honour of a dance tonight?"

Annabelle smiled quirkily at Rose. "Well it depends if he's coming here or not. I have no idea where he is at the moment." She said, whilst wandering where he could be.

Cho looked at him concerened before speaking " Oh ok,just you seem distant " She smiled at him,before reaching out for his free hand.
" Do you wanna dance now then,i dont mind if you dont wanna dance tonight..."
She looked to the side at the other people dancing for a while before turning back to Harry,giving him a slight smile.
