Ginny danced with him in time with the music and smiled " normally i don't either , but oh well just a bit of fun," she laughed a little " and i'm not going to be a girl that just stands there for most of the ball"

Jasmine felt disappointed,"I was hoping to see him here. Do you think Ben did something to him?" she asked Annie concerned.

Annabelle sneered at the thought of that overgrown pumpkin, who had a pshycopathic mind.

"I don't really want to talk about Ben right now, but i doubt it that Draco would let that pumpkin head hurt him." Right now she hated Ben Malfoy more than she hated Harry Potter, which spoke for itself.

In the corner of the great hall by the stage a figure stood, clear as day as if out of nowhere, He looked at the student and professors enjoying the Ball.

Lupin seem smarter than normal, He bruises and scars had disappeared and his hair was neater and no greys, seemed younger looking in all and he had a smile on his face.

Tina wandered aimlessly for a while, then went over to Annabelle and Jamine. "Hey Jas, Hey LP!" she said, grinning at the nicknames. "Having fun?" She sipped her drink and looked around. This was the most boring party she'd ever been to, though definitely the most beautiful.

Remus wondered who LP was, couldn't think of anyone with them in their name. Lupin Just shrugged slightly, and remained where he wasn't not wanting people to see him, he just needed come company to be around people he knew...

Maia swallowed her pride and entered the Great Hall to attend the Yule Ball. Her method of speaking to nobody she considered below her didn't seem to be going to well as she should of figured. So she decided to try a new approach.
"You look erm, nice to night Professor Lupin" she said meekly trying to muster up a conversation.
She was dressed in a plain satin gown, that was a dull grey in colour but she looked beautiful nonetheless.
Her curls fell willy-nilly to her shoulders and she had a careless look about her like she didn't know the meaning of "dressing up."

Lupin smiled at her "..Didn't know you could see me Maia, you look wonderful..glad you made it here" he said looking away from her and to the hall, dance floor.

She looked down at her self in surprise. Wonderful? That was a first she thought.
"Well I'm glad you're glad for me because I havn't had the chance to be yet."
She joined Lupin looking at the dancing and thought almost enviously how simple their lives looked.

"If you stand her talking to me, you are going to miss out on all the fun, go in there and just talk to them, worse they will say is, get lost, then they aren't worth it, and move on.. you'll be fine.. I need to go for now, I'll be here later.." he said as his image started to become transparent, before vanishing, leaving a chill in the air.

"oh Maia i'm sorry." myrtle appeared without pigtails now. She had a simple bluish gray dress on with sparkling diamonds. "I didn't think you wouldn't have a date for the ball." Of course when i was alive no boy asked me to the ball i was probably to ugly for them." tears dropped out of myrtle's eyes. "I wasn't always like this you know."

Tina smiled at Jasmine. "Well it's nice to know I even come close to Draco!" She grinned. "Yeah this is awful though, isn't it?"
She looked at the dancefloor, at the people having fun, and scowled. "How can they dance to this?" Tina laughed and imagined herself pogo-ing to some crazy punk band.
She looked around and saw Maia talking to Myrtle. She smiled at the thought that Myrtle was the only friend she had.
"That girl" Tina said, pointing discreetly at Maia, "Came up to me the other day while I was talking about Ted - none of her business, like - and said-" She mimicked Maia's snobby voice. " 'I might be beeing rude, but isnt Teddy Lupin a werewolf?' Oh, the curses I'd use on her...." Tina said, her voice venomous.

Tina laughed. "She makes Snape Snape Sour Grape -" She dropped her voice as Snape passed "- look like a cuddly Teddy-bear."
She though of Ted. She missed him, she wished he was still in school.
"God, I hate that girl with a passion." She said. She turned back to the girls. "So, hows tricks?"

Tina rolled her eyes and laughed too. "It's an expression!" She giggled. "It means hows it going; what you been up to!" She shook her head.
Maia was still stanidng there. Tina tried her best to be everyone's friend, but that girl didn't deserve her time. She turned back, and thought to herself stop obsessing over it! So what if she's a snob? It's not you're problem! "Well Jas, how - are -you?" She said slowly, emphasising each word and smiling.
She knew sometimes she could be a bit too annoying but she was having too much of an awful time to care.

Tina smiled. "Not too bad, I suppose. Wish I hadn't come though!" She took a sip of her drink, it tasted horrible. "Euuurrrghh!" She said, screwing up her face.
"That's awful!" She said. "It's -" But Tina no longer knew what it 'was' She felt very dizzy, then very sick, next think she knew the floor was moving, and she was lying on it. Everything went dark.

Maia was barely listening to what Myrtle was saying. She however did notice the hint about her being ugly and hoped she wasn't implying they had something in common!
Why did I even come she thought. She wished she was somewhere where people could take criticism instead of being all defensive about it. "At least what I say is constructive and not all mindless gossip" she said to nobody in particular.

Dumbledore entered the hall and looked around at everyone, he then made his way to a quiet corner and sat down humming merrily as he watched people dance.

"oh well maia i can just tell you aren't listening to my sob story." Myrtle left tears dropping from her face. Why was she always the ugly one. Her one true love said he'd be there but of course he didn't show. Myrtle floated past Dunbledor and said "hello Professer you seem happy wish i was." and floated by then she saw tina and stopped to sit by her. "Hello Tina oh well that maia isn't she just dreadful oh."
