A Break

Jasmine arrived at the Kings Cross Station. Her wrist was still burning from being just branded with the dark mark. She opens up her purse and took out a powder puff and some foundation and covered it, so no one at the order can see or suspect. Jasmine put them back into her purse and saw Harry at the platform. She walked up and greeted him,"Hi Harry. What's up?"

Jasmine looked at Harry concerned,"Is he around?"

"Your scar is hurting, Harry. I can tell. It only hurts if he or one of his followers are around and I don't see neither. Are you going to be okay?"

Jasmine walked over to Harry as if she were possessed and she slipped off one of her gloves and put her index finger on his scar. Letting it burn into his skin,"Does that hurt, Harry?" she asked sympathically.

Jasmine giggled with delight,"Do I scare you, Potter? You should be."

Jasmine watched Harry walk down the alley thinking *One day Harry, I will taste your blood* Just then, she felt a cold shiver going up her spine. Jasmine knew that Voldemort was here, she could sense it. "Come on out, my lord. I know your here."

His outline stood in the middle of the street, and suprisingly, he did not draw attention to himself. My Lord, these muggles were blind if they hadn't seen Sirius apparate right in public. But then again, Sirius did have a knack of blending in.

He held his collar high as to not reveal his face, what made these muggles so important? He could kill every single one of them and not feel a single notion of remorse, but no, where would the fun be in that? He could cause a riot, now that would be far more fun...

His trench coat covered most of his body, including his arms, making it fairly simple to hide his wand from sight. There seemed to be around twenty muggles around, they would do nicely. He motioned them closer, with a weak Imperius, best if they didn't know they weren't under their own control.

As they drew ever so closer, Sirius made his way to a nearby park, and they followed like rats, without meaning.

Sirius was unexpectedly calm, as if this was all just some sort of game. It didn't really matter what happened to them, after all, they were only muggles.

As they drew closer to the middle of the park, Sirius raised his wand.

"Incendio" He whispered. The trees around all were set ablaze almost at once. His deed was done. With a flick of his wand the Imperius curse was lifted upon the unsuspecting muggles, and the look upon their faces as they saw the spectacle was quite the site. Terror, and anxiety took over and they all ran about like the animals they were. Sirius couldn't help but laugh as they all failed to leave the center of the park. He wasn't done with them just yet...

As Harry continued to walk he heard the rowdy laughter of the bunch of teenagers as it grew louder it suddenly stopped and was silenced, Harry couldn't help but pause and find it oddly unusal, truing about on the spot he looked for the group of teenagers surprising enough he saw them huddled in the middle of the street frowning slightly at the odd sight he was shocked to find the group slowly begin to move off only this time they remained silent and infront, Harrys eyes landed upon a figure who was cloaked in blackness making it unable to tell who that person was.

Harry's eyes then moved back to the group of teenagers, inidiatly giveing there expression he knew somthing wasn't right. He caught a glimpse of the nearest teenager, 15 at the most his eyes where glazed and unseeing his body ridged, work of the imperious? Harry thought as he watched them pass he knew the man at thr front must been the caster of the curse, quietly he followed along the side walk and as best as he could he stuck to the shadows, what had this man or possibably women have in mind? with this thought Harry had to follow he knew that them being muggles this would casue them into a fit of distress and possiably even an unconsious state..possibaly leading to there deaths, this Harry couldn't allow it was simply immoral. who would cause such suffrering for no reason??

As the group neared to a stop Harry held back amounst the vast covering of a small tree suddenly he head the word incendio echo though the trees as the went up into a blaze, briefly he had to shield his eyes from the glare of the flames, he watched as the group of drunken muggles came to there senses as the curse was lifted he watched in disgust as the ran around in fits of panick like headless chicken's he had to stop it immidatly, glaninging around he couldn't see any sign of the opressor, given the current situation Harry had no other choice, he knew he would no doubt be expelled from hogwarts for underage magic but this was serious. Drawing his wand he had to act fast hasitily he put a weak Imperius upon the unsuspected muggles, surprising to Harry's amazement it had worked. moving into the clearing he instruted them towards the exit of the clearing once they where away from the danger harry Liftted the curse to see a few of the muggles stumbble and some others run off.

lowering his wand he glanced around the clearing, the flames about the trees begun to die down, he checked yet again for any potential danger still he could not see the oppressor, letting out a slight noise of frustration he turned to go, only to stop as he head movement.

"Oh great...they won't get away that easily..." He raised his wand and almost as if one with nature, the roots of the diminished trees seemed to lunge at the last two muggles. He could hear their shrieks, their cries for mercy. Mercy? He had yet to begin! This little fire was nothing but a sort of entertainment for him.

As the roots coiled around them, he effortlessly moved them towards him due to the effects of the mobilicorpus. They stood in front of him, even though he was not at all visible for he had resorted to be in the middle of the flames, oh how he loved danger.

"Maybe I should make you walk into the fire...?" He said with a smile, but appeared more like a grimace. They gave no response, but he new they wouldn't, which made it all the better.

He placed a small incarcerous spell around them, disabling movement.

He had noticed a small figure of in the distance. "I suppose a hero has come to save the muggles...No matter." And with that, he cast them into the flames, out of view...

Harry whipped round as he saw the two muggles become encased within the tree roots, still Harry had to help but how?

for a moment Harry had to briskly move out of the way as the two reamaing muggles moved towards there controller, no doubt to there deaths, but being Harry as he was, yet again he would not let this happen, moving to the edge of the cearing he watches as the two muggles fearful faces and there movements as the struggled against the now visable chains of Incarcerous.

Before Harry had time to even fire a spell let alone rasie his wand he heard the voice of someone farmiular, yet Harry didn't want to belive it how could Sirius be so cruel or heartless for now he kept the feeling at bay.

As the two muggles where throen towards the fire rasing his wand yet again he shouted the first spell which had come to his head "Carpe Retractum!" with that a purple claw like elastic arm had errupted from his wand pulling the first of the muggles towards him then the second one, he was oblivious to the figure standing only a meter or so away. doosing the burning of the flesh that smelt prutrid singe ing Harry nose hairs he turned the first one over, he was unconcious but seemed to be breathing thankfully with a small sivering charm he cut the chains and roots off the muggle, Harry carfully placed the teenager into a somewhat remote recovery postioin to allow his air ways a clear passage.

Finally Harry edged over towards the second of the two muggles, at first to Harry he seemed uncnsious as he cut away the binds and the root it was then that Harry noticed that before him layed the 15 year old boy or possibly younger, frowning harry felt his stomach contracted he didn't seem to be breathing, placing two fingers to that of the boys neck, he felt for a pulse only..to find nothing "no.." Harry shook his head he didn't want to belive it but he hand no choice the 15 year old boy layed there motionless he was dead. a lump begun to form in his throat "i'm so sorry.." Harry mumbbled to the dead body before him. clentching his fist slightly felt yet again a mixture of emotions within, removing his jacket he covered up the boy and then after a while slolwy he raised his head to look upon the figure who had caused it with a look of anger about it he glared at the figure then getting to his feet he held his wand ready and stepped awy from the bodies towards the watchful person.

He burst in laughter the oder of the burning flesh was certainly comforting. He had dismissed this intruder for far too long, he could have killed more...

"Come to ruin my day, have we?" He shouted, making sure the intruder was aware that Sirius knew he was indeed present.

"May I ask? Why a wizard such as yourself came to the rescue of such meaningless things." Emphasizing the last two words of the sentence.

"Don't you see, we were given this gift of ours for a reason...for power. It is our destiny to take over such disgusting muggles. They live their lives in fear, in doubt, why should they be granted life?" He said as he gestured at the motionless body on the ground.

"I'm sure not even you can keep others from exterminating them from the face of the planet, you couldn't even manage to save our little friend..."

He turned his attention back to the fire and with a wave of his wand, the fire was put out, all light with it. Some of the trees had been reduced to ash while others seemed skeletal in comparison to a full-fledged tree. The air was filled with the smell of burned wood and flesh, a disgusting oder at best. There was nothing familiar of the park that stood there a mere twenty minutes ago. More like a graveyard, its haunting presense could send a chill down any spine. Perhaps that is why he loved the sense of the dead, he knew how it felt...

"Well...?" He asked impatiently his back still turned.

Jumping slightly at the mans sudden shout of question, Harry advanced forward slowly into the clearing he saw the outline and features of the man more clearly as he grew closer, for Now Harry din't speak he used the effort to hold down the bile building up in his throat as the sicknning smell of flesh continued to singe his nostrals.

After while of silence Harry finally replied as his eyes took in the back of the man standing not far infront of him, he hoped to hell that it was not who harry thought yet he reamained calm as he spoke. "no, i've come to stop your games..to stop this..immoral behaviour.."

again as Harry collected himself he remained calm "i speak only the truth in which i belive is right, a wizard such as myself, as you put it, belive in doing only the good things and theses "meaningless things" happen to be the part of what we are..even if you..belive you stand above them..exactly what have they done to you? nothing apart from existing? them existing is how half of us surrvive and live..you may not wish to belive it, but we are more like them then anyone thinks.."

"as for the boy..his death will haunt you..he was barly even 16 possibaly even 14..tell me..how other children have you killed..this boy..was as old as you where at Hogwarts..imagaine dieing at that age..alife ahead..a family..of course..you know nothing of that do you...Sirius.." he said as he watched the man before him, Harry remaind as calm as he could in such situations even though inside he felt ill and sick, his scar was starting to prickle and his arm throbbed.

Jasmine was walking down the street until a several flashes of light wizzed past her head. She spun around and saw Harry and Sirius. She felt herself blush when she saw Sirius. She kept in mind that Draco was her boyfriend and he was the only boy she really loved, Jasmine snapped out of it quickly. Realizing that they were in a middle of what looked like a duel, Jasmine carefully crept behind one of the stone pillars behind Sirius and watched the scene unfold in front of her. She felt very confused by the whole situation. *I thought Sirius came back our side* she silently thought to herself watching the duel in front of her.

"Ah...Harry, I should have thought it was you." His tone now menacing.

"What did these poor, defenseless muggles do to me? A silly question I assure you. You see, muggles are interesting creatures, they fear what they can't understand, and eventually seek to destroy it. What makes you so sure these pathetic excuse for human beings wouldn't hunt you down if they had the chance." He motioned at the body, and it gently rolled on its side, revealing the face of the young man.

"You must understand that not all people are 'good'. For example, this boy right here, after searching what's left of his mind, I see he had no future...His mind filled with meaningless things like friendship, love, hate, truth, deception, all of which can tear one apart. He would have brought upon his own death....I just sped up the process." He managed to smile, even if his reason was clearly evil.

"Do you understand these pathetic muggles? I suppose I don't, but then again, I wouldn't want to..."

Jasmine listened carefully to Sirius's words. She couldn't help but, agree with him on some levels, because she despised muggles herself. But, she couldn't help but feel angry at him for betraying the Order, Harry, and the rest of the people that cared about him. She drew out her wand watching the rest of the confrontation unfold. Jasmine silently watched waiting for her chance.

"yeah well you know me.." he said with a slight glare towards Sirius. Harry listend as he spoke, Harry could see the sense and points of Sirius words, looking towards the young boy as he was turned over he grimanced at his charred face. "half the time they only fear what there told to fear..and for that they only go in search for it to destroy it for means of power..your more alike them then you think..stop at nothing in hope for fame, glory even power until eventually thats the result of your death.."

"see thats where our wrong.." He said as he took an advanced step towards Sirius his wand still held in his hand "his future was love..friendship, he could of had a family..a lover some form of relationship..both of which you lack in, your the one who knows nothing..youv'e only been to afraid to accpet some family or friendship into your life.. you have only ever pushed it away..even you as the old you did that..and look what happend to you..look what you have been reduced to..a shell.."
