Jasmine takes a deep breath,"I suspect that I may not be a muggleborn at all. I think I may be part demon. I don't know why I'm so violent but, I think that might be it. My mother wasn't really what you can call normal. She always went out at night and she wouldn't come home until early in the morning. She would come home with scratches and bruises on her face. But, it's probably just my imagination. I'm pretty sure that I'm just an average muggleborn witch."

Scarlet was looking at her, thinking intently. "Well.. couldnt you just ask Professor Dumbledore to see your records. It would say what blood type your Mum was."

Jasmine shrugged,"I seriously doubt the Dumbledore has my records. My old school always sends things at the last minute. I'm pretty sure that my mom was just an average muggle. When she was alive, she never talked about her family."

Tina came in and began to wash the disgusting sticky green stuff that came off the plants in herbology off her hands. "Hi Jasmine!" she said happily. "Hi!" She said to the other girl - she recognised her but didnt know her name. "I'm Tina!" she said, and she raised her sticky green hand to wave, then quickly put it behing her back, embarrased.

Tina went slightly red but then cleaned her hand with a spell. "I love that name...What year are you in, Scarlet?"

Scarlet smiled. "Thanks, I really like the name Tina. Is it short for something or is it just Tina? I'm in my 6th year, what year are you in?"

Tina rolled her eyes. "It's short for Christina - but i've always hated it." She dried her hands on a towel. "Im fourth year Ravenclaw. I know we haven't got the glory of Gryffindor or Slytherin, but we've got brains!" she winked.

Jasmine nodded at Tina when she walked in. Jasmine walked over to a mirror and frowned at her reflection. "What kind of glory does a Slytherin have?" Jasmine asked Scarlet.

Scarlet thought a second. "Is it them being as cunning as a fox or something?" Scarlet asked, not sure if she was right.

Tina kind of shrugged. "Well you don't hear much about Ravenclaws, do you? All the important people in history - not all of them great - are either Slytherin or Gryffindor, aren't they?"

Tina smiled "Yeah I'd want to be in Gryffindor if I wasn't in Ravenclaw." she quikly cheched her hair in the mirror. It was sopposed to be strait, but was all frizzy. "Lets change that then, eh? Put Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff on the map!" She said.
