Wandering the corridors.

Emma walked through the fifth floor corridors. She had just finished going to the library, and she was making her way to the Gryffindor common room. She turned the corner thinking it was really quiet for a Sunday. Suddenly she walked into someone.

Astoria had been wandering through the hallways all afternoon. She had even skipped her last lesson with Snape; which would most likely result in tomorrow's detention.
She turned the corner and saw Emma walking towards her.
Brilliant! Another cocky Gryffindor! Maybe if I ignore her she'll leave me alone.

Emma saw it was Astoria. She smirked as she walked past her, also making sure she bumbed into her at the same time.

"B****" Astoria muttered under her breath.

Emma turned around. "I heard that." She said to her.

Astoria smirked, "So? Do you think I care?".

"Obviously not, as you are a stupid Slytherin," Emma replied, shaking her head and continued walking.

Astoria quickly turned and grabbed Emma by the wrist.
"You should learn some manners, Bloodtraitor".

Emma laughed. "Bloodtraitor am I?" She replied. She pulled her wrist out of Astoria's grip, and walked into a classroom, not knowing it was empty.

Astoria followed into the same room and closed the door behind her. Then she turned to Emma, a dark look masking her face.
"He's going to destroy you, along with the mudbloods and half breeds".

Emma smirked. "Oh you mean Voldemort?" She replied.

Astoria struggled to keep her face composed.
Ignorant fool! She dare to speak his name!
"You can act brave now, your words don't mean much. You've joined that idiot Dumbledore, havn't you?".

Emma shook her head. "And what makes you think that?" She asked, sitting on the desk, ready to hear her answer.

Astoria shrugged, "Gryffindor prejudice. I'm surprised though. Maybe you aren't as dim as you look".

Emma laughed. "Well maybe you should get to know me before judge me. But that's what you Slytherins do don't you?" she said, getting off, and accidentally stood on her foot.

"Slytherins aren't the only ones to misjudge others. You can pass that on to your good friend Weasley" Astoria snarled.

"Which one?" Emma replied smirking. "Anyway, none of them are my friends. I hate the lot of them." she added.

"I'm surprised you feel that way. Is there a reason for that?" Astoria questioned, leaning against Professor Flitwick's desk.
"And I was talking about Potter's biggest fangirl"

"Oh Ginny." Emma laughed. "I don't have a reason for not likeing them.. I just don't. And it's NOT because they are bloodtraitors. I don't care about blood.."

"But does your family?" Astoria replied, actually interested.

Emma shrugged. "I don't talk to them much.." she replied. "My mum kicked me out when I was placed in Gyffindor, but got a letter saying that if I missed one for class, or pick on another first year, I would be expelled." She said, sitting back on a desk.

Astoria smiled, "So they do care then. Your parents sound like very respectable people; I wonder if my father has does business with them before."

"My parents are not Death Eaters." She replied, looking hurt that someone could even think that. "They were ravenclaws. They were just embarest that I'm not as smart as they were." She said.

Astoria smirked, "I never mentioned the Death Eaters; My father works at the Ministry."
This foolish girl has no idea. Yet she accuses Slytherins of being prejudiced!
"My parents aren't Death Eaters either. But i'll excuse you for jumping to conculsions."

"Well, sorry. But it looks like we are even." Emma replied. "Now if you don't mind, I would like to go." She got off, and walked to the door, and found it locked. So she got out her wand and said, 'Aloamora' and the door opened, and she walked out.
