The Snows Of Winter

Remus was running through the Forbidden forest jumping over the roots as snow fell through the branches above him. His traveling cloak flapping behind him as he ran.
Owl hoots could be heard and howls of wolves.
Remus kept running and running a stitch growing in his side and he had to slow as the pain cripled him. He stopped by a tree gasping for air holding his side.

Jasmine ran thru the forest using her demon speed even though she is still in her human form. She jumped over every tree root as it they were hurtles on a track. Since the first night her demon side awaken, Jasmine had gone thru a dramatic transformation. All of her senses from sight to smell became sharper, she became more strong physically, spiritually, and mentally. Jasmine continued running with such dangerous speed, she ran into something hard and landed facedown in the snow.

Remus was forced off his feet with great force landing smack bang into a fallen tree and into the nearly settled snow. He groaned for a moment before he became silent and still as snow fell on to him.

Fenrir was walking in the forest his cloack pulled tight around him, to protect him from the wetness of the snow the cold didnt bother him, he smiled he liked the snow the coldness and the coulor

Jasmine rolled onto her side and she coughed and sputtered. The fall must have winded her. Jasmine coughed again and spat some blood and she looked over to see what she had hit and she gasped. "Oh crap!!!!" Jasmine realized that she hit Remus and she limped over to him and set him up and asked,"Professor??? Are you okay???? Professor can you hear me??"

A small trickle of blood ran down from the side of his head and mouth and nose from the force of hitting his head on the fall tree. The cold snow caused his cloths to become damp and icy cold. He didn't hear Jasmine first but then mumbled under his breath.

Jasmine saw him bleeding and drew out her wand and muttered,"EPISKY!!!!" After healing his wound she asked him again,"Professor are you okay???? Nod if you can hear me."

He put a hand on her shoulder to push her away , but it just fell to his head and his head fell foward. His eyes remained closed and the sky began to grow darker in the early evening of winter, but the snow began to get heavier. Getting deeper in the school grounds but thankfully in this forest, the branches and remaining leaves help stop most of it coming down onto them

Jasmine bit her lip,"I'm so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going. Come on, let's go back to the school. I'll take you to the hospital wing." She proceded to help Remus up.

His eyes opened a little his head spinning still. All he could see was white from the snow. He could feel the cold breeze against his cheeks and ruffling his hair. "~What's~going~o~on?" he stuttered as he was pulled up on to his jelly like legs.

Jasmine hoisted Remus up onto her back and she began to walk back to the castle,"I accidently ran into you, Professor. I'm taking you to the hospital wing. Again, I'm really sorry."

"~I can walk~let me go~" He said pulling away from her and falling to his knees on the snow. He grabbed onto a root and used it to pushed himself up and used the actually side of the tree too stay upright "~Why are you~here~anyway?~"

Jasmine put Remus down when he started to pull away from her. She watched him get up and responded,"I was just getting some exercise. I didn't know that you were out here. Professor, I'm really sorry for running you over. I wasn't trying to hurt you. Here, let me take you to Madam Pomfrey." She said as she tried to help him again.

He hit her hand away "Get away from me!" He snapped sudddenly nearly loosing his balence "you nearly killed my son! destroyed my house!"

Jasmine put her hands on her hips and says in a low calm voice,"When are you going to let that go? Professor, you hold grudges longer than anyone else I know. Do you want to freeze to death? You're going back to the castle and I'm taking you to the hospital wing. I knocked you over and I'm taking responsibility for my actions. I'm taking you back to the castle, even if you're kicking and screaming." She says in a motherlike tone and picks him up and hoists him on her back with her demon strength and begins to walk back to the castle with Remus on her back.

He wheezed as she carried him back through the woods, his memories going through his mind like a jumbled up photo albus. He struggled now and then and his teeth chattered in the icy cold air.

Jasmine nearly dropped him as he struggled. She looked up and glared at him,"Stop moving or I'll drop you. Don't worry we'll be there soon." Jasmine looked away from Remus and proceded to walk.

"..Something was after me!" He said listening to the distant howls and over sounds of strange creature which lurked inside "Let me go.. I can walk my self.. be quicker.."

Jasmine stopped walking,"What's after you? Or who's after you? Is it Greyback? Is it Marcius? You're in no position to fight or walk on your own. I suggest we get out of here before someone or something attacks us both. I'm still going to carry you. Don't worry, I'm alot stronger than I look, even if I'm still in human form." Jasmine continued walking until she heard howling in the distance. She stopped again and looked around and she could sense that something wasn't right. Jasmine put Lupin down, drew out her wand and slung his arm over her shoulder and she continued to walk supporting him with his arm slung over her shoulders and she gripped her wand tightly ready to defend herself or Remus if something were to attack.

As they walked and kept a eye out in their surrounding Remus put his free hand into his pocket and pulled his wand and had it ready incase i was needed. He could hear the howls growing louder as they got closer. He looked round and could see shadows through the trees, but kept on going, walking through the nearly settled snow. "..Thought I saw something through.. the trees back there...and I don't know what was chasing me... something though.. don't remember.."

Jasmine and Remus kept walking and her held her wand ready,"Stay calm Professor. If I see something, I'll fire a curse or a hex. Just keep walking, we'll be out of here soon. If something attacks us, we'll be ready. If you're too weak to fight, I'll step in. I have plenty of energy and strength to fight and I have my samurai sword as a back up. If worse comes to worse, I'll transform into my wolf demon form." More howling came from the distance and Jasmine continued to guide Remus. She looked through the trees to make sure nothing or no one was following them.

"..But there's somthing in there.. I saw shadows.. I'm not mad you know.. you know full well.. things lurk in this forest..." He said before stumbling a little as the ground began to spin under his feet. He looked to Jasmine again and then back to the forest with his eyes starting to droop, but he tried to focus and not to show Jamsmine. "..If we stop... we can see what we are.. dealing with.."

Jasmine stopped walking when she thought she saw something in the bushes. "I just saw something. I don't know what it was...it was like a shadow..I couldn't see it very well. Maybe we should stop walking for a couple of minutes. Are you going to be alright?" she asked as the raised her wand at the bushes.

Remus just nodding and ripped some blood away as it ran down "I think I know.. what it might be... but I could be wrong.."
He said leaving her side and sitting down on a rock

Jasmine was still standing and she thought she saw something again. She looked back to Remus,"What do you think it might be?"
