Darkness had fallen over the winter sky. The forest filled with the piercing screeches, hoots and howls of the nocturnal creatures. Annabelle was out walking with a parcel in hand, a parcel which she had received later that evening by owl. She crept around the edge of the tree's gazing into the darkness every once in a while. After a couple of minutes of pondering about, she finally walked into the forest. Her eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness, and she became at ease with her surroundings. Annabelle climbed up high into a tree. She sat on a high branch, cross legged, and gently unwrapped the packaging. It was a small book, which contained a large quantity of photos, photos of her family and friends. Annabelle smiled and wiped away a stray tear which had fallen down her cold cheek. Her heart ached to be at home with her family, but her mind was still at Hogwarts. As she wiped another tear from her cheek, a small piece of parchment fell from inside the book. She opened it up and read the writing inside. “Dear Annabelle. A couple of weeks ago, I found myself looking upon a couple of familiar faces, encased in silver frames. The faces of me and you. I was wandering whether you’d like to keep them. I hope you’re well, and I hope to see you soon when I’m back at Hogwarts. Love from Lexi (aka your dear friend and sexy wife) xxx
Annabelle giigled and her face glowed with the smile in which no one had seen for a while. She sat back in the tree holding the book, letter and photos tight against her chest. Memories of her and her best friend Lexi floated into her mind. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
