The Yule Ball

Gary laughed "Well lets dance then!" HE smiled and held out his hand to Drea

Andrea smiled at Gary and took his hand.

Rose slipped back inside the hall after collecting her thoughts. She stood by the refreshments table for a while, admiring Gary and Andrea's dancing. Very suitable together. She felt a wave of contentment rush over her. Good. Everyone is happy. She tapped her foot in time to the beat of the music, pouring herself a drink as she did so.

As Gary was dancing we stopped Rose. "Do you mind if i just say hey?" He asked Andrea. He didnt think she would so he stopped dancing and went over. "Hey Rose. You look lovely!" He smiled at her.

"Hi Gary. Thanks, so do you!" She took a sip of her drink to clear her head. "You should go back to dancing...it looked very pretty." Rose beamed at him, proud of the fact that he had a girlfriend.

Lavender walked back in the great hall hopeing to see people she knew especially Ron. When she saw Ron or nobody else was there she walked over to a table thinking to her self. She soon got lost in thoughts as she sat down.

Andrea smiled at Rose from where she was and turned to find Gabby , but drea guessed Gabby must have found her friends.

Seeing Andrea looking slightly alone on the dancefloor, Rose waved to her and beckoned her over. "Don't be a loner!" she joked.

Drea laughed and smiled. Andrea walked to them as she tryied looking for Gabby too.

Gabby laughed. "This is goin to be the best party ever!! yule ball!!" Gabby smiled. "But poor me.. I have no date.." Gabby looked down.

Gary smiled as Andrea came over. She looked so beautiful.

"Look at you, smiling your face off!" Rose said to Gary quietly, nudging him with her elbow. "Anyone would think you were happy!"

Gary laughed. "Well i am! I'm glad to see you're cheerfull as well!" He smiled at Rose but secretly he was still worried about her.

Roxy entered the Ball, After walking with Milo, She smiled happily and went over to get a drink.

"Hey Roxy! Haven't seen you around here." Gary smiled at her.

Roxy walked past Gary and went over to some Slytherin Freinds and started chatting and laughing.

Rose stared at Roxy and made a rude hand gesture at her back. She then smiled at Gary. "Aaanyway..."

Gary looked at roxy shocked then saw what Rose did and laughed. "Whats her problem?"

Roxy glared back and turned back to her TRUE friends.
She finished off her drink and told them she would come back, she went off to collect another drink.While no one was looking she waved her wand and alchol appeared in her glass.

"Ah well, we're not good enough for her anymore..." Rose laughed with Gary and resisted the urge to shout 'Eff you!' to Roxy across the room. Slytherins can't take jokes, she thought.

"Yeah its just a shame because we were all so close. I guess it was just act now that she's found 'Milo'" He smiled.

"I guess we'll have to get over it," Rose said, pretending to cry. She stopped almost straight away and grinned. "Over it."

Gary roared with laughter. He started singing "Just the two of us.. We can make it if we try..."

Rose mimed throwing up in the punch bowl. She realised people were looking and stopped suddenly, blushing slightly. "Eurgh! The cheesiness! Make it stop, make it stop!"

Gary laughed again. "Well i am sorry! It seems my singing is just not good enough for the likes of you" He huffed and walked away but turned around and grinned.
