Nearly three weeks later.

It was nearly three weeks before Harriate woke up from the coma her injuries had place her in.
Her eyes slowly blinked open before closing again at the onslaught of light. her body ached from all the injuried epecialy her chest from being cut open by Sebastion. She tried to push herself up but didn't have the energy and grabbed the covers but her hands refused to move. She looked down at the tightly wrapped wrists before looking around the room.

Pandora sat at her side and jumped up when she saw harriate move.

"You alright", she asked scared..it was the first time Harriate have moved in weeks?

Harriate looked at Pandora confused on how she got here and tried to answer but her voice wouldn't work so she simply nodded instead trying to sit up and wincing as pain shot through her chest.

Harriate looked at Pandora shocked at everything that happened and just hoped she was fully healed by the next full moon or she was in some serious trouble.
'Thank you.' She mouthed no sound coming out and she rubbed her throat with an unresponsive hand.
Frownign she tried to flex her fingers but they wouldn't move.

"You just have to give it a bit more time. I'm sorry but your hands have been injured badly as well."

She walked to the bed side table pouring her a glass of water and holding it to her lips so harriate could sip it.

Harriate frowned hating feeling so weak again. She sipped on the water gratefully as it slid down her dry throat and a small smile graced her lips.

Harriate nodded and coughed, wincing as her chest hurt.
She had been to scared to fight Greyback off with her elements. It had been so long since she had used them they would more than likely cause a devistating effect, and the longer they lay dormant the worse they got.
She leaned back on the pillow weakley.

Pandora had something on her mind and it weighed heavily on her heart as well. Remus was still missing. She hadn't heard anything from him in days. She feared the worse as she sat beside Harriate's bed in a side chair. She didn't want to worry Harriate by telling her about Remus's sudden absence.

She sat there staring at the bookshelf as she recalled a previous conversation with Remus. He had told her he loved her and he was fed up with his life and wanted to get away from all the pressure he was under. Could he had just took a break from them all, she thought....but surely he would have told her. No something was wrong or he would be here with her now. It wasn't fair she thought feeling angry. She had been alone for so long because of Barty and now she had Remus's love..but where was he? Did he need her? Was he injured or worse? All the thoughts going through her head made her sick with worry and she couldn't hold the tears back that flowed down her face so easily at the thought of losing him.

She quickly got up not wanting Harriate to see her pain and worry. She walked to a window and stood staring out at the gardens wanting nothing more but to be with Remus right now.

Harriate heard Pandora get up and tried to open her eyes but they refused to open.
She felt the familiar sense of darkness wash over her again as she tried to remain concious.

She hadn't slept in days and it was wearing her down. She felt weak and tired as she walked back to the chair and fell into it closing her eyes for a moment.

She had to stay strong for both of them...

The grandfather clock chimmed reminding her it was time for Harriates medicines.

She got up walked to the bedside table laying Harriates meds out for her to take. She poured her some fresh water to wash it all down with.

"Time for your meds Harriate", she said looking down to her wearily.

Harriate heard Pandora speak and try as she may could not muster enough energy to let her know.
The darkness wrapped around her like a cold embrace as she slipped into a state much like she has been for the past few weeks.

She knew it was going to be a long healing process for Harriate. She took a vile of healing herbs to Harraites lips and poured it slowly down her neck. She changed the bandages, replacing them with fresh ones.

Weak with worry and no sleep she walked to the sofa and layed down. She finally fell to sleep after so many sleepless nights, it had gotten to her.

It was later the next day before harriate thought her way back to the land of the living. She opened her tired eyes and glanced around the room again.

Sun light coming through the windows shown in her eyes waking her. She slowly raised up trying to remeber why she woke up on the sofa. Then she remembered Harriate and quickly looked to her to see if she was alright. As she began to get up, "Remus was missing". It hit her hard as she tried to get up. She sat up putting her face into her hands. It was just so unfair. Her best friend loved her and she could loose them so easily now, after all this time. She thought good times were ahead, how wrong she had been to think her life could ever be anything, but complicated and full of pain and disappointment.

"Harriate, are you awake", she asked from the sofa weakly and her voice trembling slightly?

Harriate turned her head to face Pandora and nodded slightly forcing herself to sit up. She focused on her breathing to try and forget the pain. It was only a matter of time before she was fully healed...hopefully.

Harriate shook her head and mouthed 'no thank you'trying to flex her fingers but they still wouldnt move.

Harriate gave up trying to flex her fingers and With a determined face she tried to force herself up.
She forced her legs over the side of the bed wincing and tried to pull her upper half up.

Harriate nodded and hated this feeling of being so weak. She would make sure she was up and about as soon as possible there was no time to rest.

Pandora helped her to a chair near the fire. After Harriate was seated she layed a blanket over her legs.

"I layed out some books for you awhile back for when you were feeling better."

While they were talking Shelby brought them breakfast. She sat Harriates beside her on a table be the chair. Pandora took hers and took the other chair by the fire. She picked up a strip of bacon and ate it.

Harriate glanced at the food but her stomach just flipped in protest. it had been to long since she had eaten that she didn't even feel the tiniest bit hungry anymore.
She nodded simply to pandora gazing sighlessly into the fire.
