Training

Charles walked eagerly into the Forbidden Forest with Annabelle at his side. They were about to duel, to train to better themselves. As he entered fog covered his feet and rose blinding them. As they walked further and further they found a clear spot perfect for dueling. The fog didn't die down, but instead grew thicker. Strange howls echoed through the air but that was natural at this time of night.

Annabelle walked by Charles's side into the forbidden forest. The sky had darkened and the moon shone through the gaps in the trees.
All was earie and a sence of spookiness could be felt in the air. Annabelle listened to the different sounds echoing in the distance and loved every minuite of it.
"Kind of scary here isn't it?" She said whilst gazing around the trees thinkihat she could see something moving in the distant bushes.
"N..N...Not that I'm scared of course." She laughed but it was obvious that she was a little bit frightened.
The fog layed on the ground like a velvet blanket and the moons reflection lit it up, a silver vale over the damp floor.

Charles spun around they had been walking in utter darkness. Charles laughed a little bit. His blood was pumping do to the fright inside him. "Eh the creepier the better," Charles spoke before being interrupted by a strange roar from deeper in the woods. "Ok, so would you like to start this one off madam He laughed and put emphasis on madam.

When Annabelle heard the sudden roar in the woods she jamp and grabbed a hold of Charles.
"Sorry....i dont like these woods." She said whislt letting go of his arm. Annabelle turned around looking at every angle of the forest just to make sure there wasn't anyone or anything for that matter there.
"Of course i would kind sir." She giggled slightly and bowed infront of him.
"EAT SLUGS!" She then burst out into laughter.

Charles stepped back and spit out several large slugs from his mouth. "Are you kidding me,"He spat out another slug. He stepped back, after the slugs had stopped. He had an awful taste in his mouth he kept spitting out the taste. "EXPELLIARMUS!" Charles called out pointing his wand at Annabelle's wand.

Annabelle stood laughing in the darkness. She couldn't help it, seing slugs appear out of Charles's mouth was making her burst out laughing.
"Sorry...couldnt help it. Thought it would be funny."
Annabelle stepped forwards and aimed her wand at Charles, when she noticed he was about to curse her.
It was too late, her wand fell to the floor.
"ACCIO WAN!" Her wand flipped into her hand. "FLIPENDO!!" She shouted accross the forest.

Charles was knocked backwards and fell onto his back. With a thud his head hit a rock. "Ow" He tried to laugh. He jumped up to his feet groggily "STUPIFY!" Charles called as a light red flash lit up the forest.

Annabelle shrieked as she saw him hit his head. "Are you ok??" But as soon as he stepped up she got her wand ready.
"m.." She fell to the floor stunned. Her body lying on the cold, damp mudy ground. Motionless.
"Oh great!" She kept telling herself, but the words didnt come out. She couldn't move.

Charles stood there, "You ok?" He walked over to her and offered his hand. "You ok?" He repeated.

The onl part of Annabelle that moved was her eyes, which were targeted on Charles. She couldn't move.
"enervate enervate enervate" she kept muttering. Suddenly all feeling in her body came back and she could once more move. She reached for his hand and grabbed it.
"Thanks."

Charles smiled and looked at Annabelle. "You ready to go another round?" Then he stepped back and stretched.

She stood up and got into her dueling stance.
"of course im bloody well ready." She laughed and raised her wand up ready.
"STUPIFY!!" She winked at Charles. "always nice to return the gesture isn't it."

The spell hit Charles dead in the chest and he was thrown backwards hitting a tree. He fell to one knee and almost toppled over. This wasn't the first time that spell hit him, but it still hurt. He gripped his wand tight and pointed it up "EXPELLIARMUS!" Charles called out.

Annabelle stood in shock as he hit his head once more.
"PROTEGO!" She lifted her wand up higher and aimed it once more at Charles.
"Rictusempra!"
