The Awakening.

It was the day before christmas eve when Harriate's breathing sped up slightly as did the heart monitor as her hand twitched and clenched before her eyes flickered open.
Her eyes were there normal colour again and they flickered around in fear and confusion as Harriate wondered where she was and how she got here.
She tore off the oxygan mask and pulled out various wires wincing in a panic.
Harriate tried to jump of the bed but her legs gave way from lack of use while being in the coma and she crashed to the floor. Memorys asulted her of the transformations and biting Remus and she felt the tears come to her eyes as well as a strong urge to be sick.
She closed her eyes and saw flashing jaws and claws of when jasmine had attacked her and saw herself biting Remus and her breathing sped up and she threw the little contents in her stomach up.
She lay on the floor shaking as the images flashed infront of her eyes.

Harriate relaxed seeing Remus come into the room and hugged him back feeling safer now he was there.
Her eyes widened hearing everything he had done for her and she wondered how long she had been out.
'didn't..need to.' Harriate croaked voice painfull from lack of use and the screaming from the full moon.
'm'fine.' Harriate forced a small smile onto her face so Remus would worry less.

Harriate gratefully drank the water and her eyes widened slightly at the prospect of actualy havign a real home.
'dont wanna...get in the way.' She said looking down at the floor.
'How long have i been asleep?'

A bright smile lit her face and no matter how hard she tried Harriate wouldn't be able to wipe that smile off.
'Thank you.' She said softly. Harriate saw something green and silver beside her pillow and reached over and grabbed it, finding out it was a teddy.
'err..Remus...who's is the Teddy? Is it Ashleys? here you might want to give it back to her.' Harriate said holding the teddy out for Remus.

Silvia couldn't take waiting for Remus anymore, plus she was worried why he hadn't come back yet. She dressed the baby warmly and put her warmest clothes on and headed back to St. Mungos. It took her over an hour to walk there. She was quite exhausted from walking so far carrying a baby.

She finally made it back to the hospital room. Walked in the door ans smiled, looking a bit flushed.

"Remus are you and Harriate better...been home worrying. Couldn't stand it anymore and came back to check on you two. Christmas is coming, we need to get a tree from the forest soon, but not sure if your up to it yet. Plus I have missed you.", she said walking over to him and hugging him with her free arm.

Harriate placed the teddy on the bedstand wondering if it was ashleys or not. She noticed the flowers beside her bed and the balloon at the end of it and wondered why they were there.
Harriate clicked her neck and watched Remus with Ashely a small smile on her lips.

She was grateful for the break and smiled to him, then walked over to see Harriate.

"Hello Harriate, I'm glad your alright." She looked to all her gifts.

"Nice things people have gave you, she smiled."

"So do you think your up to having your first christmas with us. I've never had one myself, be my first too", she said happily.

'Hello. How are you?' Harriate asked and grabbed the Teddy again.
'Here i think this is Ashleys.' She said giving the teddy to Silver.
She nodded at the thought of actualy having a christmas. She just hoped they didn't go through any trouble for her.
'What are you meant to do for christmas anyway? i always wondered.'

Silver looked at the bear.

"Honey I think that is meant for you. Ashley doesn't have a teddy."

She then looked to Remus about the other part.

"I think we cut a tree and bring it in the house and decorate it anyway we want it, plus we can put pretty lights on it. Humans usually give each other gifts also."

"Make a great big feast too", she said almost licking her lips.

Harriate looked at the bear in shock. It was meant for her. Someone had bought her a teddy. She smiled slightly but then remembered what Silver had said about Ashley not having a teddy.
'Ashely can have it then...you said she doesn't have one. i don't need anything.' Harriate said softly holding the teddy out again.

"Thats very kind but it was meant for you. Whoever gave it to you wanted you to have it. We can get Ashley one for christmas."

"So are you ready then...time is runnning out and we have alot of fun things to do together", she said beaming.

Harriate looked down at the teddy and smiled slightly. She'd never had a teddy. She wanted to know who it was from so she could thank them. From the colours they knew she was either in Slytherin or they knew these were her favorite colours. she had a sneaking suspicion it was Pandora. She held the teddy close smiling.

"Yes but the night before, tomorrow on christmas, you normally hang stocking up by the fire, then leave a drink out, go to bed and gifts are in them.. then you normally have a large dinner then are meant to open the presents which each person gets from another.. you do put a fern tree up, decorations, I can do the hard labour when I get there no I got a wand."

"Ohh that sounds so great Remus, she said coming to stand by him smilling.

"Well Lets get your things and maybe you can use your magic and take us all back. I don't know if I have it in me to walk all the way back, nor does Harriate."

She then walked to Harriate. "Come on lets go have a real christmas", she said offering Harriate a hand, to help her to her feet.

Silver grabbed Remus's hand and held on to Harriates also.

"We are ready I think. You can send her things to the house to can't you?"

Harriate smiled holding the teddy close and took Silvers hand. She was a bit shaky on her feet from being out of it so long but she was dertmined not to ruin the mood by falling over.
