Seeing Silvia

Lupin staggered though the forest away from Hogsmead after the news of Tonks and after Harriate ad left to take his place in Azkaban.

He clutched a bottle of firewhisky and pulled his jacket around himself as snow fell through to the forest floor.

He finally made it to the old den, there was a covering of snow there, He looked round for any sign of Silver.

"Silver!"

He called looking around the clearing

She came out of the den wrapped in a dark blanket. When she saw Remus she ran to him throwing her arms around him.

"I have been so worried about you. I thought I would never see you again", she said with tears in her eyes.

"Are you alight Remus", she asked looking him over.

He hugged her back

"Well have some bad news actually.."

He said breaking from the hug

"..Joost gonna say it, Harriate is goo'in to Azkaban and Tonks is hav'in a baby, 2 months... she came back, said yoo needed me too."

Her insides churned at the news...she felt sick, like someone had turned her world upside down.

"What now...whats going to happen to us Remus..to all of us", she asked finding a log to rest on, before her legs gave out on her?

He walked over and slid on the log, on the snow and stoped next to her and put a arm round her and then pulled the cork out the bottle with his teeth and spitting it out and swigging it

"Well I was nearly sent to Azkaban for killing Barty, while I was teaching, Pandora hates me, Codys and Teddy don't like me anymore.. I will be here for yooo"

he said putting his head on her shoulder and looking up at her and then offered the whisky

She kissed him on top of the head and wiped a tear from her cheek as she took the bottle. She took a sip and handed it back to him.

"I don't want you going back. Everytime I see you leave...I'm so scared it is for the last time. You are safer here with me and our child, she said looking down to her stromache. "It's all such a mess isn't Remus. Sometimes I think it's all a dream and i should wake up and find my Papa and brother here....but then cold reality sets in, chilling me to the bone."

"Well they aren't coming back, but they never left.. if you understand what I mean?"

He said kissing her back on the lips and holding her tightly

"How long has it been now?"

He asked as he put the bottle down in the snow and looking down and putting a hand on her stomache

"Don't worry, we'll think of something, could go to my old home.. fix it up.. not too far from here."

She hugged him tight for fear of letting go he would vanish.

"Could we Remus? The baby is due anytime now...it's cold and I don't have anyone to keep a fire going for me. The other two ran off to join another pack."

"I fear if left alone we might not make it through winter."

he said beaming

"Hope it's just the one in there, not sure how, werewolves work when it comes to, this."

he said turning away looking a little embarassed

"It's frowned upon where I'm from."

He looked back to her

"I don't think I'm cursed anymore.. long story story, I was killed with silver, the brough back, think it might have killed the curse, as the silver could still be in me, but I have never felt better. pysically."

he said pointing to his face where scars had been, but were no longer there and his grey hairs were gone

She looked to him in shock.

"What...your not a werewolf anymore?" She looked at his face. "How could you want me then. I am still curesed and the child will be also. I guess then it is a good thing I can control the curse."

"See so much happens when your away. Your world sounds very dangerous and cruel, she said starting a fire for them to warm up to.

Remus helped her make the fire

"I can do this."

He took his wand and used it to creat a spart on one of the logs which soon started to spread

"I was cursed, I know what it's like to be a outcast, just because I'm whole, doesn't me I truely am, not without you..I would never leave you, hint, why I am here now, I don't care what you are and what the child will be, I love you and always will."

He walked over to her and led her back to the lg by the fire and then took his bottle and swigged it and winced a little and pulled a face

"Don't care what others say... sound just like bloody Tonks.."

He said laughing at himself

She smiled back to him.

"I guees you are right. We can never be whole anymore, after all we've been through. You died...but how did you come back, but I guess it doesn't matter, just that you did? I'm so happy you are here and alive", she said grabbing his hand and holding it tight.

She layed her head over on him.

"I love you Remus"

He rests his head on hers and puts a arms round her as he looked into the flames of the fire

"When would you like to leave and go home?"

he said nuzzling her a little

"Wish the winter would end already. So cold this year.. least worst comes to worse, the House is no longer where, the student's would be home, away from the school and we could go there.."

"I'm ready now, as soon as we can go. Tired of being here in the cold. Wasn't so bad before, but now it seems to be harder to take."

"How soon can we go?"

She nuzzled him back and threw her blanket over them both. Snuggling next to him to keep warm.

He huddle close to her and helped her up "We can leave no, think I can find the way from here and quickly"

He said making sure the blanket was over them to keep her warm mainly

She smiled and got up, standing by him.

"I'm ready I have nothing to take with me."

"Wonderful. Tomorrow I can get back to Hogwarts Hogsmeade and get what we need, won't be gone that long, need a bed, food and a crib for the baby."

He said aiding her through the snow littered forest

"Can you tell me what to expect with a child like this will be?"

She smiled as they walked through the forest.

"Well it's not alot different from a human child. Just be affected by the full moon is all. I've never had a child before so it is all new to me. But have seen other werewolf babies from those in the pack. Some are more affected by the moon than others. Guess we will have to wait and see, won't we."

Remus nodded, not really understanding what she meant by it, but just thought he would go along with it and just decided to wait and see.

"So not going to be little hairy chaps then? because I don't know if I could affort to get them hairs cuts all the time."

He laughed making some light out of the situation.

He offered her the whisky bottle

She laughed and playfully slaped his arm. "Maybe on the full moon", she said taking the bottle and sipping it for warmth.

She felt so much better now, that he had come back. The thought of a roof over her head was very nice.

She opened her mouth and tilted her head back catching snow flakes like a child.
