Slytherin Quidditch Practice

Jasmine walks out the quidditch field dressed in her emerald green quidditch robes carrying her Firebolt. Seeing that she is the first one out on the field she opens up the case that held the four balls (2 bludgers, quaffle, and the snitch) and takes out the quaffle. After trying out for the Slytherin quidditch team, Jasmine earned herself a position as a chaser, which was her best position. She draws out her wand and conjures up a brick wall to block the hoops as she would through the quaffle into them. Jasmine hopped up onto her Firebolt and kicked off and began practicing scoring goals.

Annabelle sat on the side bench watching everyone practice. How she had longed to be on the slytherin team. How she had longed to feel the air rush through her hair when she rushed past the giant hoops. How she longed to feel the rush of adrenaline when she threw a quaffle through the hoops.

Jasmine could feel her hair blow back as she rode on her Firebolt. She could feel the adrenaline rush through her body as she sped up to the goals and scored every time. Jasmine looked down on the ground and noticed Annie was watching and she waved to her and shouted,"HEY ANNIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT'S UP????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Annabelle gazed up and noticed Jasmine speeding past and shouting at her. "I'M FINE!! AND YOU??"

Jasmine scored another goal and shouted,"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M FEELING GREAT RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE ARE SO GOING TO WIN AGAINST GRYFFINDOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!"

Annabelle sat back down watching Jasmine scoring goals and trying to imagine herlelf up in the skies on her broom with her. "BEACAUSE SLYTHERIN ARE THE BEST!!"

Jasmine scored more goals and yelped with joy,"THAT'S SO TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND THEY HAVE ME AND DRACO AS THEIR SECRET WEAPONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRYFFINDOR IS GOING DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Annabelle shouted. "GOT THAT RIGHT!!"

Jasmine swerved her broom in front of the brick wall she conjured and scored another goal. She shouted,"WE ARE GOING TO WIN BACK THE QUIDDITCH CUP FROM GRYFFINDOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S RIGHTFULLY OURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Annabelle went into a day-dream for a moment. She quickly snapped out o it when a quaffle came flying at her. She caught it with ease and threw it back to Jasmine. "IT IS!"

Jasmine caught the quaffle and said,"Sorry about that. Draco's late, he said he'd practice with me today. What do you think he's been up to lately?"

Annabelle shook her head. "It's ok. I don't mind." She gazed up into the sky. "I have no idea. I haven't spoken to him in a while."

Jasmine landed her Firebolt on the ground and took out her water bottle. She sipped from her water bottle,"Draco's been sneaking off to do something and I don't know what it is. I hope he's not cheating on me."

"Draco would never cheat on you. He's not that cold hearted. He loves you too much!" Annabelle smiled at Jasmine."Have you ever thought that he might be on a m..." Annabelle gazed around to make sure that there wasn't anyone around. She lowered her voice just incase. "a mission."

Jasmine almost dropped her waterbottle,"What? What kind of a mission is he on?"

Annabelle felt as if she shoudn't have said anything. "Well, you know what I mean. I dont even know if he is on one. Just a guess."

Jasmine looked across the field wondering when Draco is going to show up. "Hurry up Draco. We are suppose to practice today and then we are suppose to go on a picnic afterwards." She shifts her attention to Annie,"If he is on a mission, then I will help him. You know that I will do anything for him. I love Draco so much and I want to marry him someday." Jasmine says dreamily.

Annabelle laughed slightly. "I know you would Jasmine. I dont even know that he is on a mission. If he s on a mission well the dark lord will have wanted him to do it by himself. Otherwise he would have had someone else go with him. But i doubt it he's on one." Annabelle stared out onto the pitch. "Hey ummm...jasmine..Do you think i coul get on the team?"

Jasmine smiled at Annie,"I think so. I think we have one opening. One of the chasers quit and we are going to hold tryouts next week. If you want to try out, you can."

Annabelle smiled and felt happier than she had been for a while. "oh thank you! I am so going to try out!"

Jasmine smiled,"You'll do great. I've seen you play before. I can't wait to see you there." She checks her watch,"I hope Draco's not blowing me off. If he is, he's in for a world of hurt."

Annabelle smiled back at Jasmine. "Thanks Jasmine. That really means a lot to me." She sighed and looked up to the sky. "Jasmine I have something to tell you."

Jasmine stopped looking at her watch,"What is it?"

Annabelle looked down at her feet. "ummm..I don't know how to say this but....I might be moving school." A tear ran down Annabelles eye and she tried to hold it back but she couldnt. "A family member of mine called Gemini is head of Beauxbatons and she said that if i moved school to there......she would help me with my studies."

Jasmine looked shocked,"No, don't go Annie. You belong here at Hogwarts with me, Pansy, Bailey, Draco, and Harriate. Please don't go. Beauxbatons is a preppy school for girly girls and you're not a preppy girly girl. Annie, you are too cool to go to that school."
