Continued: A New Start (#3)

"It's okay Remus...no one is perfect. "You just need time to clear your head", she said with a sigh and closed her eyes.

Harriate pushed herself away from the tree and limped back to the river. Seeing both Remus and Silver asleep she smiled slightly before heading back into the forest.

She heard a noise and opened her eyes jumping to her feet.

"anyone there", she asked picking up the large knife she carried to to hunt with?

Harriate froze when she realised Silver was awake.
'j..just me..Harriate..go back to sleep.' She said teeth still chattering together.

Come sit by the fire you sound cold..I can hear your teeth chattering.

"I have an extra blanket. You don't have to be alone...your a part of this pack now. Come onm she said holding out the blanket."

Harriate looked at her warily before limping over and sitting down by the fire arms wrapped tight around herself.
't..thanks..'

She walked over to her and wrapped the blanket around Harriate. "Would you like something to eat, still have some rabbit left?"

Harriate held the blanket tight around her.
'Im ok..not hungry..thanks..' Harriate said even though she hadn't eaten all day she wasn't hungry. and it seemed pointless to eat if she wasn't.
'R..Remus ok?'

"He's just tired, had a bad day. Are you okay, she asked softly?"

*puts some more sticks on the fire, to keep it going*

Harriate nodded eyes flickering over to Remus.
'm'fine.' She replied automaticaly.

She looked back to Remus as she heard him stirring.

"It's alright Remus..Harriate's just come back to join us for the night, she said pulling a blanket around hersef to keep warm."

She walked over to where he layed and and sat down leaning up against a log.

"A dream.. was it bad, she asked tossing a stick in the air towards the fire. I don't have anything else left here anymore. I wonder though if they would accept me though...i'm not magical..I'm cursed by the moon", she said rubbing the scare on her chest.

"Umm...Harriate seems to have just wondered around all night. I asked her to come and be next to the fire. I didn't want her to be out alone."

Harriate shrugged her gaze on the fire as she held the blanket tight around herself. Her mind wasn't really on the conversation at the moment. She continued gazing into the fire face emotionless not paying any attention to her surroundings.

"Yes that would probably be best Remus. Harriate and I can look after one another while your gone. Hopefully your group will forgive you, for whatever it is you have done. If not we will stay in the forest and do the best we can."
