Waiting

Teddy was only sticking around for Cody. He was still planning on leaving,but he wanted to see how it turned out for Cody and their father. He had already gone through a couple firewhiskeys and just hoped Cody would show up soon so he could get back. He didnt even want to think about his father. He just layed his head on the table waiting for Cody to return.

Teddy went up to get a butterbeer. He saw his father leaning on the bar,so he tryed to stay out of his way,and quickly returned to the window where he was sitting.

Teddy sipped his butterbeer and looked out the window,He was wondering why his father was here and Cody wasnt.He gently tapped his fingers on the table and waited.

Teddy continued to look out the window,he didnt think he could look his father in the eyes without starting to cry."Just waiting on Cody........And I dont hate you,I just hate the way your acting right now,Right when we both need you."

Teddy finally looked at his father,they were a bit watery. There was a long pause.He didn't know what to say. He then just stared back out the window.

Teddy saw Cody and told him to come to the table where he and his father were sitting at."I think we all need to have a conversation,and none of the same excuses. We all need to say how we feel and anything else thats on our minds."

"Ill go first,Dad I will never hate you. I was a little disappointed,but you seriously need to stop running away from your problems and stop the drinking. You and Cody are both werewolves,so he understands most of it more than I do. We're not expecting you to be the greatest dad ever,we just expected you to be a little better than your behaving."

"I just want you to be the man you truely are.Because I know this isnt how you always act,otherwise people wouldnt tell me about how great you were. Just at least stick with Cody until hes of age."

"Why can't you just go back to the Order? I know they laughed at you,but that doesnt mean you have to quit. Do you want to stop Voldemort or not? They actually really respect you in the Order."

"Whats this about A wizard offering you a better life,because last time I heard thats what Voldemort tells werewolves." he said with some fear in his voice.

"Ok,then what are you going to do after you see him? And please dont go with that man,I just have a really bad feeling about that."

"Yeah I know your not stupid. But you sound like you really interested in that offer,which is pretty stupid because Voldemorts after giants,dementors,werewolves and more,promising them they will have a better life. So I just hope your not still interested."

Teddy just watched him leave. He then continued looking out the window and thinking about everything over the past few days.
