"Now class, please remember to hold a strong image of what you want the object to transform too, it will determine the quality, shape and size etc of the results" she said beginning to pace the room.

"Thats great work Miss Walter's, keep up the good work", Professor McGonagall said on reaching her desk.

"How are you getting on Miss Granger, need any extra help?" she said turning to the disturbance at the desk behind her.

Harriate read through the chapter as quickly as possible as her hand moved across the parchment making notes. Dipping her quill back into the ink without looking and continuing. At the end of the chapter Harriate put her writing stuff aside and took her wand from her boots. Noticing Charley pull a brush from her bag Harriate raised an eyebrow. Pointing her wand at Charleys hair brush she smirked.
'Geminio' Flicking her wand again she summoned the copy of the hair brush to her.
Listing everything in her head about the spell she flicked her wand at the hairbrush.
'Morphus.' The brush twitched and curled up into a hedgehog shape but that was it. Putting more power into the spell Harriate flicked her wand again in determination.
'Morphus.' Harriate smirked as it successfully changed.

Jasmine picks up her wand and points it at her hairbrush. She says,"MORPHUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and the spell transfigured her hairbrush into a perfect hedgehog on her first try. The Slytherins erupted with cheers. Jasmine turns around and looks at the rest of Slytherins and winks at them. Then, she looked up at Professor McGonagall,"Nope, I think I got it."

"Perfect Miss Riddle, well done!" the Professor said nodding in approval.

"Miss Granger, I hardly think you have got it if your hedgehog isn't moving" she said picking up the hedgehog and banging it gently on the table where it made a hollow clunking sound. " You see the mistake Miss Granger made here is that in her haste to impress she only got the basis of the tranformation, you must add life and character to the object in order to make it a living thing, and a successful transfiguration. Maybe a few extra lessons from those who have successfully done it" she said with a slight smile turning back to the class.

Bored harriate picked up her hedgehog and smiled tapping it with her wand.
'Duro.' The hedgehog instantly turned to sstone. That would stop it moving.
Grabbing her quill she made some notes on how the spell had worked and drew the change between hair brush and hedgehog. Tapping her wand on it again she changed it back into a living creature and held it in her hand.

"Great Mr Potter" she said. "You can try again imagining that its a more realistic size if you wish, but you have the foundations, your Hedgehog has character, oh it's going to fall off the table if you don't stop it quick" she added hastily.

Jasmine glared at Professor McGonagall and picked up the hedgehog and transfigured it back into her hairbrush and she raises her wand again,"MORPHUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Again she transfigured it into a perfect hedgehog and this time, it jumped into her lap and she began to scatch the hedgehog behind the ears. The rest of the Slytherins cheered again. Jasmine turned around and smiled and winked at them.

Looking over Harriates shoulder at her work Professor McGonagall smiled. "You will do well in this class Miss Riddle, feel free to skip to the next chapter if you wish, there is another 10 minutes left of the lesson. I can get you what you need."

Jasmine sat down on the floor and began to play with her hedgehog. The hedgehog rolled over on it's back and Jasmine rubbed it's belly and she grumbled,"How dare Professor McGonagall embarrass me like that. At least I don't get humilated in potions."

'Thank you professor.' Harriate smiled slightly and tapped the hedgehog again.
'Morphus.' Once it was a hair brush again she pulled more parchment towards her and flipped to the next chapter and started making notes.

"About time Miss Granger, the rest of the class have completed this task some time ago, but everyone works at their own pace I suppose, your classmates seem to be pleased that you have finally done it. It's good you have your friends support. Be sure to thank them for the encouragement now won't you." The Professor clapped her hands for silence, "Well done class" she said.
"Remember to update your logs on todays lesson, I wish to see this transfiguration perfected for next lesson".

"Are there any questions before you leave?" she added

Jasmine picked up her hedgehog and placed on her desk. She taped it with her wand and it transfigured back into her hairbrush. Jasmine jammed her hairbrush back into her purse and waved her wand and her transfiguration book, quills, ink, parchment, and her notebook zoomed back into her bag. She turned around and glared at Professor McGonagall,"What gives you the right to humiliate me in front of all of my house mates?"

Albus knocked on the door in some sort of rythme then entered the class room to see a numorus amount of students, he noticed that one of the students seemed to be give the proffessor some trouble, Albus raised his hand to silent the girl "i belive an apology is in order miss Granger" he said with the farmiular smile, turing to Minevra he accounded "sorry for the intrusion Minevra but i aquaire a word with Harry.
